But seriously... I think this year, with so many games flipping to ESPN+, I think I'm finally ready to cut the cable. I'm thinking YouTube TV is the best solution for me. Has similar cable channels and unlimited DVR. Anyone out there currently using this service and care to comment about it?

I have excellent WIFI throughout my house and two smart TVs already successfully playing YouTube. Looks like an easy flip to YouTube TV while flipping off Cox!

@drgnslayr I have youtubetv and love it. Best value for the money I could find. Unlimited dvr is great for set and forget NCAA ball. A nice bonus is you can share your account with up to 5 other “family members” which allows for cost sharing. I currently pay $17/month for mine...

I have youtubetv too and I like it. Reactivated my ESPN+ subscription for tonight, so I'm ready to go. I always hate giving money to ESPN.

Curious to see how the offense is tonight with Dotson out. Also excited to get a look at SDS, Moss, and the freshman. Let's go Jayhawks.

Are the injuries with Devon and Moss related to not having Hudy? Or is it just one of those things? Just wondering

I would sure like to see Dok's playing time limited in the exhibition games and all games when the game is decided. He's proven himself to be injury prone, so why risk playing meaningless minutes. Maybe, even limit some of his time during practice scrimmages. Didn't both his season ending injuries happened during practices?

Nah. Devon just got rolled up apparently. Wouldn’t be stunned if Moss just tried to do too much too quick when he got here.

@drgnslayr I switched to YouTube tv a couple of months ago and I LOVE IT! We also got a Roku streaming stick - I get so many channels now, I'll never be able to watch them all. Highly recommend this combination. Oh yeah, added Espn+ for 5 bucks per month - I'm set. One of the happy days of my life when I handed Cox all their stuff back. (Well, kept their internet for time being, until I find a suitable plan B)

I have the one cable option in Lawrence and it's only $5000 per month (got the bundled deal with phone, cable internet), and I still had to get ESPN+ for $5 per month to watch a bunch of football and BB games.

Older people here in Larryville are not happy that these games aren't on local TV.
