Dotson and Doke were definitely known dudes.

Silvio raw, Marc G basically unranked before KU got involved, similar for Ochai and Braun. Dave, Tristan and Wilson were all ranked but you wouldn't mistake any of them for 5* with flawless games.

People complain about ESPN+ but I haven't had a single drop out or hiccup.

I’ve seen Coach Q scare Snacks like 30 times now and still laugh each time

Dok's FT form looks fine. Now he must develop touch. I learned touch by shooting 1000's of FTs.

This is the biggest thing. If they were going in but still looked bad mechanically I wouldn't be as hopeful.

The one main concern right now that I see and not new. - - Doke's free throw shooting is going to cost us. - -Some where down the line, unless he can figure out a way to do better , he is basically taking himself out of the game in a hotly contested contest.

You know -- -and I know - - we all know if it's late in a game/crunch time Doke is in -- Coach is gonna have to yank him out or it is going to be classic hack Shaq. - -They made the statement that in practice he is hitting in the 60's close to 70 % - -well news flash these won't be practice. - Mercy I hope somehow this guy can get this figured out - They say well it's in his head - -well it's a new year,- - so should be new approach --

Anyways seen some things looks nice - -Braun looks like he is going to be helpful, - - more then I thought for this year - - -Silvio still looks a little rusty, got work to do on his shot - -BUT now it get's real.

Also I mean I understand why we play these games - -helping the smaller in-state Colleges with the pay out for playing - -But other then that -not just sure how much we gain from a game like this - -just pretty much a glorified scrimmage. - -Ha the play by play just said the one worry that has come out of these exhibitions has been? - - - -The free throw shooting by KU - - - 9-19 against Fort Hays State - - - 5-12 tonight 14-31 for the two - -got work to do - - - anyways roll on guys - -it's almost show time - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

I am exhausted after a long night of trick or treating but was able to watch some on phone. Doesn’t look like I miss much, feel like we just played around in the second half and could’ve beat this team about 120 to 30 if we wanted. Be a big week here heading into the sunflower showdown Saturday and Dook on Tuesday. I’m ready, let’s go Hawks.

I really like Enaruna and Braun. I'm excited about them as multi-year players.

I haven't caught any of the exhibition games. Too much going on here and didn't want to spend money on watching half games against creampuffs.

Here's the highlights for those who didn't get to watch the game.

Pitt State was so lacking in height that my old school mentality kept wondering why we wouldn't just throw it inside the whole game. I do understand we won't play that way all year and we need to work on our stuff.

This team is huge. This team can shoot. This team passes well. This team is athletic. This team has depth. Check. Check. Check. Check. Check

@approxinfinity All of those things are there. The one thing I don't see YET is team chemistry. Coach has a lot of options to work out a solid rotation.

It seems like it's coming. No crazy.

We seem to have won half the battle. Garrett's shot looks competent. Much smoother. Some really good work by the staff there. Terrific work actually.

Doke, well, you're right.

I think it's very mental with Doke.

As far as team chemistry the basketball chemistry will hopefully come. From a locker room perspective this year is much better than last year.

I'm keeping in mind that it was Pittsburgh State and you can't really take much away against a team like that, but some things that I took away:

Silvio grabbed 10 rebounds in 14 minutes. He also had 9 points. It's clear he's one of the best rebounders in the country.

Enaruna almost had a double-double with points and rebounds, and he also had 5 assists. He's an improved shot and dribble away from being a star, and he's long enough to be good at the next level.

I really like Braun - The way he plays within the offense, the way he carries himself, the way he helps up opposing players, his dreamy eyes. Makes me more optimistic about Kansas being good after this season.

Agbaji looks like he may have arrived. Everyone talks about Doke and Dotson and rightly so but Agbaji might steal some of the spotlight. I think he could lead the team in points, and there will definitely be games this season where he is the guy.

Just in general I like the vibes I'm getting from this team versus last season. More mature, more serious, better defensive, everyone getting along, players earning their spots, no drama queens.

No one quote this after we look like shit and lose to Duke by 15 and there's drama.

@KirkIsMyHinrich This reminds me of when I was about 18 years old (a looooong time ago) and me and my buddy were in a dark, smoky bar. That was the only kind there was in this town (and 18 was the legal drinking age back then - told you I was old).

So we're sitting at a table and I looked up and saw this gal in super tight white pants leaning across her table and talking to someone across from her. So I elbowed my buddy and said "JEFF!! Would you look at the * rear end * on that one!! About that time "she" turned around and it was a dude with a full beard. I put my head in my hands and felt like an idiot.

A while later, my buddy was like " You know, he DID have a nice * rear end *.
