Going to see Devonte play Friday night against the Bulls. Hope he has a big night.

19.2 ppg, 7.7 apg, 42.1% 3 on 8.8 attempts per game. Hope he can keep this up. My only nitpick would be he needs to get better at 2-point shots and finishing around the rim. He's only shooting 40.7% from the field, I'd like to see that around 42-43%. But when you're shooting 42% from 3 I guess it doesn't matter as much.

He's taking what the D gives him.

when I checked in on him last night , game still going on he had 29 points on 6-11 shooting - doing really well

He hasn't played very well the last 4 games. He has gone 14-63 ( 18%) in those games. It was bound to happen but hopefully he can turn it around.

@BeddieKU23 I'd put him in the 3 pt contest, and he certainly deserves most improved player, but look at his other stats. Way, way, way down most lists. I love him, but he has a long way to go to be top 30 overall.

You can sort each column, and expand to all 267 or however many qualifiers there are.

If you break it down to Eastern Conference and by his position he's Top 10 in almost every category.

7th in ppg, 3rd assists per game, 1st in 3's (both made pg & total makes), 5th in double doubles, Top 10 in rebounds.

I figure he won't make the All-Star Game, he's just not popular enough to leap a Lowry or Kemba but he's definitely played well enough to be in the discussion. Hopefully he does make the 3 pt contest.

@BeddieKU23 There seem to be from 14 to 29 qualifiers in the E Conf for the PG position--it varies based on what is being ranked.

Here are the rankings I just calculated from that ESPN link I included (all based on per game except where %age).

Top 10 is misleading in selecting pgs for All Star slots when the total qualifying in any stat is no more than 29. If we look at top 20% of point guards in the E conference, which would fill 6 positions on the E team (too many anyway, but to allow for injuries and subs), he would have only 2 categories where he is in the top 20% in that category.

And dead last in fg percentage, and bottom 11% in TOs.

Graham just hit a late 3 to pretty much seal it vs the Timberwolves has 26 off of 5 for 11 from distance 25 seconds left. He’s been in a bit of a slump hopefully this can get him going a bit.

He is my favorite Jayhawk as well. Seen a lot of highlights of him recently and he's still Frank, lightning quick, can't be guarded when his mind is on attack the rim and his 3 point shot is still really good. If he was 6'1, 6'2 he wouldn't have a 2 way contract. I really hope either the Bucks or someone brings him up he can play in the NBA

Devonte tonight!

Devonte with early nerves and ended up with only 18 points in the first round of the 3 point contest. Buddy Hield won the contest on his final shot over Devin Booker.

Yea he didn’t even hit the rim on 2 or 3 of his first 5 shots.

But he beat Trae young

Devonte didn’t shoot very well in the rising stars game either. Maybe because Zion bent the rim?!?
