Not sure, but Texas and Baylor are nowhere near what TCU charges. TCU is $75 for the KU game, upper level seating at Texas is typically $45 and Baylor is typically between $25-35 for the KU games through their box offices.

We've got Dave for that. I like his stroke.

My VPN and ESPN+ are in an arms race. ESPN+ doesn’t work outside the US, but with the VPN I could watch the pre-season. Then ESPN+ smartened up, and it hasn’t worked the last few games. Thought I’d have to listen online again. But I just got an update for the VPN, and voila, I can watch this game! I am happy, even with the glitches.

They are ranked 20, but Baylor beat them there. If we can focus, we have a good shot. Would be nice to beat Jay Wright.

I never feel confident about beating Villanova due to the coaching match-up but KU has the horses to do it this year.

Any game before Christmas reminds of that dang @ Temple game a few years ago (2014), so I'm not too confident about going to Villanova

@BShark It was a neutral-site game I think. Still, Delaware isn't too bad. We're a better team than Nova, but road games are road games. And road games against Villanova are one step past that.

It's not the game being in Philly specifically that worries me, it's that this is the road game before the Christmas break where Self's teams historically suck that has me nervous.

Auburn is the most overrated team right now. Officials have been giving them games at home. They barely beat Saint Louis today and only shot 13/28 from the line. SLU only shot 8/19 from the line. I wonder how many times both teams have shot under 50% from the free-throw line...

Nope because that's not entirely accurate over the course of Self being here. The only time I remember a Jay Wright Nova team knocking off Self KU team with a truly inferior team like this year was early in Self's tenure, 2004 or 2005 I think, and KU went into Philly undefeated and Nova whooped KU in KU's annual road game before Christmas break game. The other losses to Nova have been when Nova was either superior to KU or close in talent and ability to KU.

I've been saying since McCormack made his on court debut that he was a T-Rob clone. Even last year when McCormack was playing way to fast, that was nearly identical to T-Rob's freshman year as well.

@Texas-Hawk-10 A few of the times I thought KU was a bit better team and lost and Villanova got some nice whistles. 2016 comes to mind. One of the early season tournaments too when we played in a high school gym and Joe DeRosa was officiating I thought we were better, I forget the year.

The point is I think this is one of the season's when we are clearly the better team but we could end up losing. Road games are tough.

I know this a game KU can lose. My point is that playing Villanova isn't the reason I'm nervous about that. It's because it's the road game before the players go home for Christmas and KU has had a lot of shit performances regardless of who the opponent was in this spot on the schedule.

And no, KU was not better than Nova in '16. I love Perry Ellis, but those were some the worst teams of the Bill Self era.

T-Rob didn't commit a single foul his senior year because he never played his senior year. I also wasn't comparing freshman McCormack to junior T-Rob because that's a bad comparison. I was comparing freshman McCormack to freshman T-Rob who did foul like crazy because he played out of control just like McCormack did last year.

No, KU was not definitely better than Nova in '16. Also either your reading comprehension absolutely sucks or you just don't read entire posts because I never said KU didn't struggle against Nova recently. Villanova is one of KU's more common out of conference opponents under Self and in the 2000's, KU played Nova quite a bit and only had an issue with them once, in the same spot on calendar this next game against them is.

We know Tristan can't shoot and Braun isn't ready. Moss is the one we will really need some offense from at times. Thankfully not needed today.

ya, I couldn't actually believe how huge Doke was when I was right up by him in person. - -I mean I know he was big - - but dam when they were leaving the Airport here in Topeka to head out to the NCAA tourney we was there to see them off. - -doke comes through and just WOW

Allen is really night and day different from a non conference game like Milwaukee to a high profile conference game like Tech, KSU or something. My first game was 09 vs Texas on senior day for the big 12 title out right. Still is the best game experience for me at Allen because we came back late and won. My ears rang all the way home that night. If I remember right we kept getting it down to 2 or 3, then they’d stretch it back out to 8. We got it back to 2 with a couple minutes to go, Sherron got a steal and Brady hit a 3 to give us our first since early on and the place went completely bananas. Texas who was good back then had no idea what the hell hit them. I hope you had a good time, I can’t wait til my boy is ready to go to a game with me.

The Sprint Center game felt like an NBA game. Just seeing countless games in Allen on TV I could tell the difference. The opponent wasn't any good either which I don't think helped the activity level of the fans. Everyone knew this was a blowout in the making. I will definitely be going back next year for a game in Allen where I'll be able to compare how different the two are. Bummed I won't see this years squad in Allen because I do think this is a fun squad to watch
