Realizing that guys - -College Basketball -- is just down this year
Dec 28, 2019 05:27 PM #1

Guys , starting to realize , that it's not just us. College Basketball is just down all across the board this year, a lot of your top tier teams just struggling. I haven't seen really a hands down dominant team this season.

Watching Duke - -they struggling -- AGAIN - -I mean come on - - Brown - - - Brown @ Cameron - only up by 6 at the half, just ugly. - Looking to see how this Louisville - -Kentucky game plays out today.

I think this year, this would be the PERFECT year for us to take the NCAA Championship, I mean why not us. - -I think we have just as much chance as anyone else , at least watching teams SO FAR this year. - If we can get any kind of consistency from the 3 - -we have the Big to hold our own, - -Basketball is just DOWN

Yup. Product of the last couple HS classes being WAY down, quite a few kids sitting out from transfers, the blue bloods getting fewer top players, and more leaving early to go pro.

Very good points - -kind of disappointing in a way

It's only going to get worse. I still enjoy it because of KU. Neutral games are very tough to watch for me this yr...

Times they are a changin. My hope is after OAD goes away we get something like the baseball rule where teams can count on more continuity. While there won’t be as much talent, coaches will have more than a year to get a team to really gel and the product will get better.

Boom! Thank you @FarmerJayhawk! Without trying to sound like an "Oh, you don't want the kid to succeed!" kinda guy, I've been thinking the same for years... I'll take it a step further. Why not after oad we go to something similar to,,, Whatever, Something.... Anything is better than now.

Currently, hardly no continuity in college at all, and the pro game has suffered even more - guys in their 2nd or 3rd year who are still not ready to play, very bad product. People forget, the NBA - college as well (not supposed to be, but is) - is a business. If you don't play well, you don't play. And eventually people don't watch.
