I hope you all have a healthy, happy Fourth! On this Fourth, I'm thankful that I haven't lost anyone in my family (my brother got Covid but recovered) and that I still have a job. I hope you all have been so lucky.

This country will be stronger for all of this. It has to be. Just as any war where hundreds of thousands of people die, we as a country and as a planet have to learn from this and get better at handling pandemics, and reevaluate what it means to be among the living and what we want life to be like for each of us individually and for everyone as a society. I look forward to a United States of America!

My grill is out of commission atm but I got the ripple chip and onion dip so this song got blasted in my house (a favorite from college, long ago).

@BShark Kaepernick says it’s a white supremacy holiday. Apparently he’s not smart enough to realize running his mouth the way he does in all the commie countries he supports would kill him for going against them.

@BShark we got the expansion pack for Breath of the Wild and played that a little. We've been watching Dark on Netflix. It's been an interesting distraction from reality.
