One of my favorite memories living in Knoxville, Tn, is--prior to a Memphis-UT BB game--running into a puffy faced Fat Cat Memphis fan waiting at the bar of a local brewpub the night before a UT/Memphis game. He was wearing a white ballcap with a "M" on it and a blue sweater and white pants. Probably some big shot. I played dumb (not hard for me to pull off) and asked him if he was a Maryville fan (nearby high school). He said, "Nooooo... Memmmmfisssss."
Probably had to be there. I swear his indignation was 15 out of 10.
But seriously, white pants in December?

Chiefs Football is over in the best way. I think that's going to change the attention and emotion level.
I actually think we have a pretty good WOW team with Doke Dotson and Garett. Those three are unstoppable. Non-KU fans I talk to wonder why KU doesn't throw it to Doke every possession. Braun and Ochai are the local guys... we'll look back at this year and remember this as an exciting season if we get to the final 4. (Remember when the chiefs won the superbowl the same year the Jayhawks won the championship? That'd be cool)
Really the only thing keeping this team from a title shot is AVERAGE 3 point shooting. We actually have legit shooters too, so maybe they'll heat up for the last 6 games. ?? Otherwise, the rest of the season is just going to be a fun joy ride watching doke destroy some future NBA players.
Doke ended up with a solid game.
I hate Disney World.
