We good.

Type of game we get down by 15 somehow and have to claw our way back.

With this team's known issues with having the ability to struggle to score, there is not a light work game on the schedule.

TCU can shoot 3's.

ku however has the best defense in the nation on the road

This TCU team just got blowed out by Oklahoma St

I hope our guys don't play like this is an expected blowout game. Our team just doesn't try to get rebounds after every missed shot. Just watch our players lack of reaction when there is a long rebound. Unless your job is to be the first guy back on defense, every other player should be moving toward the ball on every rebound opportunity. Very frustrating to watch.

TCU has paper straws in their arena. I hate drinking from those, just makes drinks taste weird because you can taste the paper while you drink. Not relevant to the game itself, just a rant since I just got my drink and took my seat inside the arena.

Paper straws have come a long ways these past couple of years, but still not good enough... We just bought stainless steal travel straws lol.

TCU is a dry campus since it's a Christian school. Also doesn't change that your lips still touch the straw itself. Paper straws will always be the inferior alternative to plastic straws.

A lot of those environmentalists also ignore that you still have to chop down trees to make those paper straws so still hurting the environment.

I really miss Mitch's energy when he entered the games last year. One thing about Mitch, you always know he's giving everything he's got when he's on the court. Love and miss me some Mitch.

Doke is starting again as expected.

8 minutes to tip and the arena is still less than half full. The crowd is probably 80/20 pro KU with what's in here right now.

Braun has hit kind of a funk the last 2-3 games it seems like. Doesn’t seem to be nearly aggressive now that he is starting and not coming off the bench.

Other than not having anyone capable of guarding Doke, TCU's defense was pretty good in the first half and created a lot of those missed lay ups.

Didn't notice in pregame, but Jankovich has a walking boot on his right foot. Looks like KU has had some rough practices recently since Mitch has a brace on his right wrist as well.

Braun , Marcus, and Ochai were 1-9 that half. Gotta have at least one of them step up.

Ochai is the guy who needs to step up. He's a lot better than 2 points and 1 rebound.

ACC is at best the 4th best conference in the country. They are somewhere between 4-6. They don't deserve anything this season.

I doubt anyone on TCU is strong enough to prevent Doke from getting a shot up. If he pump fakes he probably gets a foul and has a chance for an and-1. Worst-case scenario he gets 2 shots at the line. If he just goes up in rhythm the worst case is we get nothing and TCU is running the other way with the ball. I'll take the foul.

why would Moss foul a guy who is falling out of bounds?

I doubt anyone on TCU is strong enough to prevent Doke from getting a shot up. If he pump fakes he probably gets a foul and has a chance for an and-1. Worst-case scenario he gets 2 shots at the line. If he just goes up in rhythm the worst case is we get nothing and TCU is running the other way with the ball. I'll take the foul.

A pump fake means the defender is landing on Doke's shoulders which means he's not getting a shot up with much shot of going in. The blocks are less frequent than Doke going 0-2 from the line and he's getting the and one more frequently than with the pump fake as well.

In the long run, Doke is going to score more points without pump faking than by pump faking. If Doke was a 60% FT, I would be in favor, but he's still not good enough at the line to make me want to see him get there without getting a good look up as well.

Assuming the guy is hanging on him if he ball fakes... Most of the dunks he had in the post today came after at least one ball fake. And that's because a ball fake makes the shot attempt harder to time.

This game in the end was pretty simple. - Our DEFENSE just ate them alive. unreal defense, after TCU cut it to 4 points that was followed by two steals - - -followed by a shot clock violation - -followed by two more steals, and it went from a 4 point lead to a 17 point lead.

In the 1st half they had absolutely no answer for Doke, it was a man taking candy from a baby. - Heard in the post game - -Doke 5 dunks in a 3 1/2 minute span, this defense can carry us a long ways. Best defense w have had in quite some time. -- ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

No problem, I figured it would be useful for us to see over the course of the season. I may do graphs for each player after the regular season to see what jumps out.
