The fact that RJ wants to accompany Jalen on his visit tells me all I need to know about RJ's intentions.
RJ has already visited KU multiple times. To me, the most plausible explanation for him making this visit with Jalen is because he wants to recruit him to join him at KU. RJ is sold on KU and he wants to try to sell it to Jalen as well.
