HEM I totally agree about embiid. At this point he's the most important player on this team. I've been waiting for self to reward him as well. Black seems like he just takes up space most of the time

Wissoxfan I meant last year he stuck with EJ when it was clear tharpe was the better pg. The Michigan game would have turned out differently if tharpe had been in the game instead
I'm thrilled to see maybe self learned something from last year and that is play who is playing best, regardless of their age. He has so often in the past played his upperclassmen when they were not performing as well as someone else. (EJ last year)

We all know self likes his upperclassmen so my guess is tharpe will continue to start and mason will come off the bench. Self does seem to like going small and playing both together. I love mason and how he gets in the lane and he creates better than tharpe. Watch for tharpe to play less during crunch time.

I agree slaterman. I always get nervous when a kid says hes announcing on national TV. We never get those guys. If I remember correctly he has cut Kentucky so if he does pull the hat thing it won't be to go to Kentucky. I think he does seem to lean toward KU though

I agree 100%. If BS doesn't show he's willing to play the freshman and not favor the upperclassmen the top recruits will no longer be willing to come here. They will all go to Kentucky like in years past. Wiggins success will be crucial to future recruiting
Loved it! Hopefully he can get okafor and Jones to commit along with alexander. Can't imagine there would be a better recruiting class than that
Self seems to like CF shooting ability and if this was another year I would say we need him to spread the D. This year we have so many who can shoot the ball he should probably red shirt. Him or Greene. Any guesses on transfers after this year?
