My point is basketball is my favorite sport, KU my favorite team but we have to do things the right way even if it means having to kick guys out and risk a bad season. Getting flat out embarrassing to be KU basketball fan. WTF is going on, these guys have to start acting like men and champions off the court tired of this bullSh**t, time to start dismissing players.

@jayballer54 I think in part they didn't fall so far because so many ranked teams lost last week I believe 13 did at least once. UK is still a dangerous team if they get stuff figured out. Sometimes the ranks stay about where people think the team will end up at seasons end.
I really cant believe the amount of college and pro athletes that throw away their chance to make millions of dollars on this stuff. Just flatout stupid, idk I've never smoked weed but I still don't think its worth losing all you have over it. I was foster parent for years and parents smoking this stuff and neglect puts hundreds of kids in the system.
@wissox haha. I did see some KU fans leave at the TT game late when we were up 17 with a few minutes to go. We must make AFH great again, and it starts Wednesday. Be early, stay and damn it be loud. I challenge anyone going to be as loud as they have ever been.

Lol I watched a few minutes and it was to slow. Interesting to see where the rankings go. If Nova loses this one, I don't see them staying ahead of us and Baylor. With our big win I bet it's something like Gonzaga, KU, Baylor, Arizona, Nova.
I also find it interesting that Kenpom still has UK at #3 and us at #7 after the win and us having better SOS.
There is plenty of basketball yet to be played of coarse but some were worried we didn't have shot to get the #1 seed with our SOS which after the UK game has jumped up to 27th and 42nd in non conference. I see SOS going up from here with 2 games left against the current #1 RPI team in Baylor. A win this week against them I think really put us it the drivers seat not only for the B12 but where we will go to play in March.

Was a team win forsure lando had some big buckets, JJ with put backs and 3s, Mason had some great plays but 2/5 from line with two 1/1 front end misses I can't give it to him. DG had a sick assist to Vick, Svi hit a few big shots. Coleby was very serviceable in this one. Just all around good team effort.
Yep Baylor and KU came from behind to save the day. TCU couldn't quite get Auburn.
What them recruits say about a win vs dook and UK in one season, head to Naismith drive fellas.

Didn't know if any was interested in tracking the results. WVU is the only team currently in action, they are handling TexasA&M by 16 at the half in Morgantown.

@KUSTEVE lol I don't mean to be negative but my prediction is UK 103 KU 89. I'd be happy to be wrong, I'll be watching and yelling regardless of what I think could happen, hell I'm a KU football fan. I can handle loses. I'm a realist my friend, ain't no one else picking KU. Everyone thinks I'm giving up on this team, I ain't I'll never do that.
i dont think it can be done in todays game without a 7 man rotation at the least. Fresh legs mean a ton in the faster pace, shorter shot clock time we live in.
If Mason wants to win POY this will be a big factor. Idk that JJ has it in him to score 40 points maybe if his 3 ball stays hot. We need score a ton in this game, I don't care who actually does it but we wont win again only scoring 69 points.
I really hope he makes the most of this, will be fun to see him get minutes.

Before taking my lunch break I was talking to some of my fellow jayhawkers about this team, how they will end up and which team they remind me of. I came up with the 2004-05 Jayhawks. This team started out HOT (20-1 record) as we have this year with a 18-2 record. Both teams were loaded with seniors and up classmen and thought by many to be a FF lock. 05 Had Simien. Langford. Miles. Lee and juniors Moody and Hawkins. That team wasn't very deep as well. They ended up hanging on for the b12 title, but lost 6 of their last 9 games including to Bucknell in the first round of the dance. I personally think self lost control of that team, I remember watching them, thinking they just didn't care about anything towards the end of year. Standing on defense not getting after loose balls, it was embarrassing to me, I couldn't believe these seniors would show such little heart (outside of Simien). I still see that tournament game in my mind us walking up the floor and them running for layups. This team is the biggest disappointment in my lifetime IMO. I guess what I'm getting at is I saw this same lazy I don't give a dam attitude the last 3 minutes of the WV game that let a 7 point lead grow to 19 (thanks frank for the last second 3 lol) by just flatout giving up. hopefully this team can learn from our past, if not we will be out early for the third time in four years my friends.

I just feel sick to my stomach about this team, have played like crap half the time and all these distractions I bet we end up losing 4 straight and 13 straight ain't gonna happen. First round loss in the NCAAs.
