We're currently stuck on an old version of nodebb ↗. The migration to the new version won't work because some of our data is corrupt, and I'm not certain how to fix it. So far, this hasn't caused us problems, it just prevents upgrade, but I want to pose this question to you.
How do you guys feel about a clean wipe and install of the newest version of nodebb? This would mean no access to old posts and you'd have to set up your account again.
Aside from the new features on the newest version of the board, which there appear to be many, I hope this fixes search (which now is basically useless, so kind of makes having the old data a moot point if we can't access it) and fix our sitemap.xml, which search engine crawlers use to index the site, and hopefully will cause the site to show up in more google searches and get organic traffic to the site (new people). .
If you're really opposed to this, we can stay the course with this version of nodebb, but upgrade by fixing the data is looking like it isn't a viable option for us. I'm ok with staying on the old version if this is what you guys want. Let me know.
