You are correct! I misremembered it from ESPN (well, it was late, and, to be honest, I am lazy). 57 points is the most points KU has scored in a road game.

Sunday morning QBing here, but what the hell was Leipond doing going for 4th and one with the ball on our 34 or thereabouts? I was left following the game on ESPN's gamecast, so I couldn't follow the game well. But, KU was ahead by one or two TDs at the time, KU was stopped on 3rd and 1 and a punt would have forced Tx to run several more plays to try score at a time KU was trying to run out the clock. Maybe I've got the situation wrong; my memory is that after the turnover on downs Tx then got an unsportsman like penalty that pushed the ball out to the 50, but scored very quickly. Being aggressive is only good if it works. Here it didn't work and gave Tx a much shorter field at a time our defense was exhausted and not playing well. Anyone else dissapointed with Vernon's punting? He only averaged 38 yrds yesterday. That seems too short for a D1 punter, especially when one punt was 47 yds. I'll hang up now and listen on line. JK

Oh you guys might have already seen this thrown in but thought I'd also tss this out - - think about this - - Texas has 52 players rated as a 4 * or higher. - - -KU has 1 it said lol

One other thing had to laugh watch the tying OT TD by Neal to msake it 56-55 Texas - - then we made the 2 pt conversion laughed my ass off. The fullback that caught the pass , went running with the football jump up to celebrate him and Jalen jump up and body bumped - -Jalen knocked his fullback straight down on his Ass lmao - -Your QB knocking your FB down lol
