Problem with conference expansion is there's still tge same number of available time slots for games which means more games getting bumped to streaming.

My observation is this team is not equipped to blow anyone out. We lead the NCAA in FG percentage but we average over 10 shots less than opponents. That tells me we are playing at a slower pace than we are used to seeing. This is like a Tony Bennett Virginia team, love it or hate it.

He doesn't have depth or a ton of speed with this group so I think it's by design especially to play through Hunter where you have to slow it down a bit so he can factor into the high ball screen. Different style this year I think

Furphy is better than Svi was as a freshman, Timberlake probably doesn’t see the floor much again after tonight. Missed several wide open looks and gave up several shots. Plus or minus for him had to be -15 or -20

I'm more concerned about Elmarko not making the leap yet

Would like to see more of Furph, maybe a bit less of elmarko. But still, so much potential in lots of guys, have to wait and see.

He seems to make one or two more things happen per game than he has been. Incremental progress?

Today he had a few good jump shots made, an open court play or two.

@kjayhawks It's a personal preference for me. I liked Svi a lot. Haven't warmed up to Furph yet. Probably because his name reminds me of Furby - a toy from back in the day that scared the living SH*T out of me.

On Furphy:
