Curious. Fake news? Suspended for a shove that didn’t get him ejected from the game? Awfully specific timeframe for an injury.

It was a tweet by a fake Jon Rothstein (name was Jom instead of Jon) that stated Hunter was suspended for 3 games due to his shove in the game against Kansas City. WIBW picked it up like it was real, but quickly removed it after realizing they got played.

@1JayhawkLifer I got an alert from a couple of different sources but I'm at work (yes, I'm on kubuckets at work) and didn't delve into it.

Google News has the story today from a site called Sportskeeda, whatever that is. I read the story first before seeing this post. I thought it was strange the article didn't say who suspended him, KU, Big12 or his mom and dad. Also, when I watched the throwdown incident, I saw the Roo player elbow Hunter in the chin first. I've never heard anyone else mention the high elbow. Maybe it didn't connect. I don't think KU or Dickinson has commented on it. This would be a pretty devastating suspension since Missouri and Indiana are next up.

It’s like the guy that created a fake football recruit a few years ago and got him rated in the top 100. Half of the crap the news shows is word of mouth. It's really embarrassing for WIBW though imo. They are supposed to be a news outlet. CONTACT KU BEFORE RUNNING THAT TO VERIFY. IT IS NOT HARD.
