Chiefs lookin good

Jan 14, 2024 02:07 AM #2

@Crimsonorblue22 Chiefs minus dumbass #74

Jan 14, 2024 02:09 AM #3

Huge penalty on Taylor there but i didn’t like the call because of he Miami guy pushed him into him

Jan 14, 2024 02:20 AM #4

Thought you could review pass interference

Jan 14, 2024 02:21 AM #5

Nah they stopped that crap after like 1 season.

Jan 14, 2024 02:21 AM #6

That was a bad missed call however.

Jan 14, 2024 02:30 AM #7

If I have a stroke tonight, somebody sue the living shit out of Taylor for me

Jan 14, 2024 02:31 AM #8

@nuleafjhawk not Swift

Jan 14, 2024 02:34 AM #9

Ya it’s a completely different game up 20-7 imo

Jan 14, 2024 03:26 AM #10

Refs wanna go home.

Jan 14, 2024 03:29 AM #11

Mahomes' helmet looked like my boy's toy ones. Plastic

Jan 14, 2024 03:29 AM #12

Rice is 🔥 tonight

Jan 14, 2024 03:37 AM #13

CEH, Pacheco! And Rice!

Jan 14, 2024 03:51 AM #14

@Crimsonorblue22 I think they are made out of some type composite plastic type material

Jan 14, 2024 04:14 AM #15

Solid game, only real complaint is turning a few FGs into touchdowns.

Jan 14, 2024 06:16 PM #16

Electric job by the defense. Bolton, Omenihu, Sneed and McDuffie all awesome.

Jan 14, 2024 07:13 PM #17

Add George K to the mis.

Kudos to Veatch, in just about 2 years he has put together a real solid group of young talented players on D side.

Jan 15, 2024 01:13 AM #18

@jayballer67 Congrats to the Packers. Let's keep the upsets coming!

Thanks, boy sure didn't see that coming. 1st number 7 seed to win in the NFL. Even when this ends, I can't be mad cause we playing on bank money now. I love our receives and can sure see Jordans growth. Perfect QBR rating in his first playoff game. been a good year, and future looks bright.-Goo chance it's ove next weekend but hey- - total domination today I'll take that can't stand Dallas lol

Jan 15, 2024 01:39 AM #20

Forecast for tonight in Buffalo: 8 to 14 inches. That is on top of everything that fell the last few days causing the reschedule.

Tomorrow afternoon should be fascinating.

Jan 15, 2024 04:24 PM #21

Dam the Social media just cooking Dallas about their game yesterday against my Packers. - -I didn't realize that over the las nine games Love has thrown 21 touchdowns and ONE interception - -I'' take that , all comes to an end next weekend but not complaining e have been playing on house money , our future is bright

Forgot my boys beat one of my ol favorite former Jay Hawk - - Sorry Dorrence - - -ROCK CHALK - -but not today lol

Jan 16, 2024 05:46 AM #22

Chiefs at Bills. It’s settled.

In the last six games, the series is tied 3-3, with Buffalo wining three of the last four — all in Kansas City.

In 2020, the Chiefs won at Buffalo.

Waddya think?

Jan 16, 2024 08:02 AM #23

@rockchalkjayhawk our D will win out! 🏈❤️

Jan 16, 2024 12:43 PM #24

@rockchalkjayhawk We are now proven as the cold weather team. Chiefs should enter the field with icicles on their faces.

Jan 16, 2024 03:12 PM #25

@rockchalkjayhawk Buffalo’s offense is better than the Chiefs offense. The Chiefs defense is much better than the Bills defense. The Chiefs kickers are better, the Bills punter pulled a hammy in this last game too. Should be a close game. I’m hopeful the Chiefs pull it out this time as they appear to be playing complimentary football at the moment.

Yup, I think it will be a close game, too.

Jan 16, 2024 10:13 PM #27

@dylans The way D has been playing, if Chiefs can score 21 points, I like our chances.

Jan 16, 2024 10:41 PM #28

If Townsend gets injured, it could come down to a battle of backup punters. Fortunately, ours is a sure-fire future Hall of Famer. Unfortunately, however, Mahomes hasn't punted since HS but he says he is ready if need be.

Jan 16, 2024 11:44 PM #29

@AsadZ 21 would probably do it, I just hope it’s not 7 field goals!

Jan 17, 2024 12:00 AM #30

@dylans I actually think Mahomes is starting to adjust along with whomever calls the plays (Reid or Nagy) to getting 3. Before this season the defense was hot butter and the offense knew if they didn’t score 30-35 they were going to lose. Now I think the last few weeks we have seen less aggressive play callling in the red zone especially and they are seeing that if they play smart and not turn the ball over, they can win by scoring 20. I think it’s a smart adjustment, think of Tom Brady just taking what the defense gave him for years with a strong defense. When they invested in Randy Moss he went nuts but the average year Brady’s stats were mid pack.

Jan 18, 2024 08:43 PM #31

Chiefs are 3 pt underdogs vs Bills, kind of makes sense since game is in Buffalo.

If Chiefs avoid turnovers and stupid penalties I like our chances to advance.

Jan 18, 2024 10:44 PM #32

Funny i was just listening to ESPN radio and guess who is the leading rusher all time in chiefs playoff history? Patrick Mahomes! Wild stat to me but makes sense in terms of them being one and done with Marcus Allen and Christian Okaye

Jan 19, 2024 03:23 AM #33

@kjayhawks Marcus Allen being 2nd is pretty surprising to me. Did he play more than the one postseason with Montana - 2 games? If not wow. Damien would’ve played 5 games I believe.

I think this is really cool!

Jan 19, 2024 03:29 PM #35

I'm pulling for the Chiefs also but, you all know I'm my huge Packer fan too. No one thought they would make it to the playoffs especially when they were 3-6. - Seen this today , just keeps surprising me. Saw where that GB is the First team in NFL History in the playoffs to have scored 48 points in a single game , Had over 400 yards of total offense with zero turnovers , & zero QB sacks allowed.

Then I see where Love has been better in his 1st yr starting surpassed Favre & Rodgers both in thrown TD's 32 & less Int's then Favre & Rogers -pretty good , future is bright. Like they were saying on the NFL network, GB bette pay Love now, don't screw around and lose him

Jan 19, 2024 03:49 PM #36

kinda weird something not jiving somewhere as I saw this tody, but they were talking about a first year QB too possibly - your riht Still really good going against what was supposed to e such a great defense

Jan 19, 2024 07:06 PM #38

@jayballer67 Actually, the Packers/Cowboys game did have the most combined points in history of NFL playoffs, and that might have been what you saw.

The most by one team was 73 points by da Bears in 1940. Their total combined points also was 73. Redskins scored zero!

I dunno bud , cause it was from a Packer site , but they were saying Gb most. It's no biggie your more likely right, I'm just happy with how they have came along and the future looks really bright with that group of receives we got and Hollywood Jones & Dillion as our RB

Jan 21, 2024 04:19 AM #40

Couldn't be any prouder of my boys. Was 5 minutes away from making it to the Championship , Future is really bright. - -& I'l say this I think Detroit will beat San Fran's ass , Purdy was not impressive at all, our kicker cost us this game plain and simple-- --been inconsistent all year long. - -But a great year - -looking forward to next year, I love what we got

Jan 21, 2024 09:17 AM #41

@jayballer67 said in Playoffs:

our kicker cost us this game plain and simple

No, I think the weird desire to worship analytics cost you the game. 4th and 1 at the 11, went for it because analytics says that is best. BS, when GB had not demonstrated any domination in the run game. A 9.5 pt underdog going against a great defensive line should take any points possible. If they had been gaining 4 to 5 yds regularly, sure, go for it.

Anyway, good season. I will be consoling my GB fan friend here later today--his golf cart is green with all types of Packers logos.

Just hoping he doesn't have to console me, too.....

Jan 21, 2024 02:02 PM #42

@AsadZ Keep 74 off the field and our chances to win skyrocket

Jan 21, 2024 02:53 PM #43

https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/most-points-scored-by-one-team-in-a-game-playoff ↗

The Chiefs dropped 51 on the Texans a few years back after falling way behind. Must be a Green Bay record @jayballer67.

Jan 21, 2024 05:39 PM #44

@dylans Good suggestion. Actually tied the GB record. They scored 48 in 2011 also.

Jan 21, 2024 11:38 PM #45

Let’s go chiefs

Jan 21, 2024 11:40 PM #46

That was super close to a forward pass

Jan 22, 2024 02:10 AM #47

Was that ball actually in the air?

Jan 22, 2024 02:16 AM #48

Stupid play calling could cost the chiefs, tho I’ll add if you have to look at a play for over 10 minutes, you legally shouldn’t be able to over turn it. That’s not obvious

Jan 22, 2024 02:23 AM #49

Omg grab the ball

Jan 22, 2024 02:28 AM #50

@approxinfinity they had their chances for sure

Jan 22, 2024 02:34 AM #51

Nance really jinxed that kick by Bass. I always feel bad for kickers when they miss with the game on the line.

Jan 22, 2024 02:35 AM #52

Other than the hard man fumble a nearly perfect game by KC offense

No I helped , I said even before they snapped the ball, I said to myself - -- Self , watch he is gonna miss this lol -- sure nuff he did. Yay me lol

Jan 22, 2024 02:43 AM #54

Awesome! Great game, finally clicking everywhere! Just no mecole hardman! Ever!

Jan 22, 2024 02:45 AM #55

@KirkIsMyHinrich 💩 happens!

Jan 22, 2024 02:46 AM #56

@KirkIsMyHinrich not as bad a Hardman was gonna feel!🤬

Jan 22, 2024 02:54 AM #57

Hardman was just trying too hard on that play. I still think he can be a good player moving forward.

Jan 22, 2024 03:36 AM #58

I honestly think the bills were pretty fortunate to have a chance to tie it near the end. They had 2 fumbles of their own and 1 chiefs fumble bounce their way. They had a likely pick 6 dropped and a turnover on downs inside the chiefs 35. It’s usually a game of inches and it was tonight. The chiefs were just a few of those inches from blowing it wide open and winning by 17.

Jan 22, 2024 02:13 PM #59

@kjayhawks The luck went all Buffalo’s way until that kick. 3 fumbles went their way or it’s a blowout. If I had sideline tickets to the next game, superglue would mysteriously be put on Hardman’s seat on the bench to keep his ass there. 😂

Jan 22, 2024 02:39 PM #60

@KirkIsMyHinrich said in Playoffs:

It's Buffalo, missing FG's in clutch spots is their legacy.

Jan 22, 2024 07:27 PM #61

Ignore the bad spelling, this cracked me up.

Jan 22, 2024 08:39 PM #62

@dylans I just wish they’d stop acting like it’s Brady vs Manning 2.0. Allen has to win something for that to be true. Mahomes vs Jackson is more like Brady vs Manning from the stand point it’s the conference title and Jackson has an MVP.

Jan 22, 2024 09:14 PM #63

I feel bad for Buffalo fans as I know the feeling.

Buffalo ran the ball really well, Chiefs could not contain them, however, Chiefs D did not allow a single play of 20+ yards.

This was huge for Chiefs victory.

Jan 22, 2024 09:52 PM #64

@kjayhawks Unanimous MVP + probably mvp this year too. If Jackson wins a Super Bowl it completely changes the narrative around him. FWIW I feel like the winner of the Chiefs Ravens game would be the favorite in the Super Bowl regardless of what Vegas says.

Jan 22, 2024 09:54 PM #65

The Mahomes and Reid pairing has really limited the opportunities for other afc QBs to shine.

Jan 22, 2024 10:02 PM #66

There is talk of Bills making coaching change to get Belichick.

Jan 22, 2024 10:29 PM #67

@dylans Jackson only has the Super Bowl left to conquer but he has really developed his passing game. Made teams that passed on him in not only the draft but the offseason a few years ago look like fools.

Jan 22, 2024 11:53 PM #68

@kjayhawks I love the draft evaluation they gave him - should switch to receiver. 😂 some teams never got over their first impression.

Jan 23, 2024 12:09 AM #69

@kjayhawks Ravens would not give him an extension last offseason and were ready for him to walk off.

Jan 25, 2024 12:11 AM #70

Chiefs are 3.5 pt underdog vs Ravens, kind of makes sense as Ravens have home field advantage and Jackson is having an MVP year.

If Chiefs can score 21 + points I like our chances.

Jan 25, 2024 12:16 AM #71

@AsadZ how's their kicker? 🫣

Jan 25, 2024 01:49 AM #72

@Crimsonorblue22 Tucker has the highest made field goal percentage in nfl history. Only kicker more accurate than Butker. Kicking game will be on point. (Not sure about Baltimore’s punter)

Jan 25, 2024 02:17 AM #73

@dylans how about for distance?

Jan 25, 2024 02:35 AM #74

@Crimsonorblue22 Both can hit from 60. Butker is younger. I expect perfect kicking.

Jan 25, 2024 12:50 PM #75

This is shaping up to be a tough game for Chiefs, hope they can pull it off.

Jan 27, 2024 07:52 AM #76

Jeez, we have a pretty scary DNP, out and questionable list.

No Pacheco could be brutal.

I hope most of em suit up!

Jan 27, 2024 01:43 PM #77

Nandi & Thuney are out.

Jan 27, 2024 01:45 PM #78

Ravens are playing at a very high level and are at home. Their strength (run) is Chief's weakness, not a good proposition.

Their D is solid.

I am banking on Mahomes playoff experience, if Chiefs can score 21+ pts, I like our chances.

Jan 27, 2024 06:19 PM #79

No Toney.

Jan 28, 2024 08:20 PM #84

Jan 28, 2024 08:26 PM #85

@dylans should’ve been a sack

Jan 28, 2024 08:27 PM #86

Jan 28, 2024 08:49 PM #95

Jan 28, 2024 08:49 PM #96

Jan 28, 2024 08:52 PM #97

Tough call

Jan 28, 2024 08:53 PM #98

Romo's to excited

Jan 28, 2024 08:56 PM #99

Good job D! Need a TD before half!

Jan 28, 2024 08:57 PM #100

Need to make it a two score game before half 3 is fine just need points. They can’t revert back to TDs or bust. Hasn’t worked in the past.

Jan 28, 2024 09:02 PM #101

Stupid play calls there and a bad punt. Probably a tie game at the half and should be up at least a FG. Why to coaches over think the simplest decisions repeatedly.

Jan 28, 2024 09:17 PM #102

Dirty players

Jan 28, 2024 09:22 PM #103

Dang!

Jan 28, 2024 09:23 PM #104

2 pretty weak holding calls there, second one had zero baring on the play. Gotta keep it close

Jan 28, 2024 09:25 PM #105

Yeah!

Jan 28, 2024 09:25 PM #106

The refs always make it look scripted with silly or flat out wrong calls.

Jan 28, 2024 09:27 PM #107

That clothline mahomes had to his face, I called flagrant 2! 😂 kick him out!

Jan 28, 2024 09:28 PM #108

@Crimsonorblue22 that was arguably a punch and he easily could’ve been kicked out, he hit him again on the ground. They keep firing up Mahomes and Kelce, doesn’t look like a good strategy at this moment

Jan 28, 2024 09:30 PM #109

I don't know the difference between college and nfl calls

Jan 28, 2024 09:32 PM #110

Who's getting mvp?

Jan 28, 2024 09:33 PM #111

@kjayhawks did these yahoos pick winners before game?

Jan 28, 2024 09:33 PM #112

@Crimsonorblue22 I didn’t watch pregame, very important drive to the second half. Best case is another 7 but you can’t go 3 and out.

Jan 28, 2024 09:55 PM #113

Bad call

Jan 28, 2024 09:57 PM #114

Penalties becoming an issue, I have a feeling it will be feast or famine on this drive for the ravens. Either a turnover or 7 points.

Jan 28, 2024 09:57 PM #115

Are these officials/refs on the sidelines that come on the field when there's a lil skirmish? Never noticed them before.

Jan 28, 2024 10:00 PM #116

Missed a huge hold on Reid there

Jan 28, 2024 10:02 PM #117

No holds n them?

Jan 28, 2024 10:03 PM #118

Hey!

Jan 28, 2024 10:04 PM #119

Justin Reid!

Jan 28, 2024 10:06 PM #120

Finally a holding call on them and a big sack. Offense needs to get going again, let’s not abandon the run guys.

Jan 28, 2024 10:08 PM #121

Both D's are stepping up

Ravens coach said at the half that they have figured out Mahomes.

Reid needs to make a few tweak and changes in play calling

Jan 28, 2024 10:11 PM #122

@AsadZ - it appears you’re right. Offense isn’t moving at all.

Jan 28, 2024 10:12 PM #123

@Crimsonorblue22 too early to say that IMO still a QTR to go

Jan 28, 2024 10:13 PM #124

Andy Reid needs to tweak, can't run on every 1st down. Ravens are waiting.

Jan 28, 2024 10:13 PM #125

Just being a SA

Jan 28, 2024 10:13 PM #126

Crap!

Jan 28, 2024 10:17 PM #127

Offense is gonna need to score again, not taking tha FG still looms huge at this point.

Jan 28, 2024 10:18 PM #128

@AsadZ I like still trying to run it but yes a simple draw every first down isn’t working

Jan 28, 2024 10:18 PM #129

O has to step up.

Jan 28, 2024 10:19 PM #130

Get a more creative on running plays

Jan 28, 2024 10:21 PM #133

Jan 28, 2024 10:22 PM #134

On the next drive the chiefs should fake that first down handoff to Pacheco. Just a thought

Jan 28, 2024 10:23 PM #135

Psssssttttt

Jan 28, 2024 10:25 PM #136

Did you hear them say hardman was in? Did u all go, NO?

Jan 28, 2024 11:10 PM #186

The way this season had gone, I was not optimistic.

Mahomes playoff experience and D really stepped up.

Jan 28, 2024 11:10 PM #187

@AsadZ and so many injuries

Jan 28, 2024 11:10 PM #188

Anybody have $15k to float me so I can get some nose bleed seats for two in Vegas? Ridiculous prices. Just wow.

Sneed is unreal.

Jan 28, 2024 11:16 PM #191

Got to keep Sneed, pay him.

Jan 28, 2024 11:20 PM #192

Remember who said about a month ago they had a shot because defense travels.

Jan 28, 2024 11:21 PM #193

Need for sneed! Chris Jones, please just wanna play for us! Don't be greedy

Jan 28, 2024 11:21 PM #194

@kjayhawks must be you.

Jan 28, 2024 11:27 PM #195

I'd love to have Detroit back. No Kelce that game.

Jan 28, 2024 11:29 PM #196

Is the Super Bowl the 12th? We play TT

Jan 28, 2024 11:29 PM #197

Kelce has looked like he’s 5 years younger this post season. What a job by offensive by being smart and not turning it over. I didn’t like the play calling the second half but they didnt force anything. That has been a key difference during this 5 game win streak.

Jan 28, 2024 11:31 PM #198

@Crimsonorblue22 12 is a Monday, we don’t play Sundays in the B12. Super Bowl is the 11th (Sunday)

Jan 28, 2024 11:31 PM #199

@kjayhawks that 2 yd pass to Kelce scared me in the middle of the line.

Jan 28, 2024 11:32 PM #200

@kjayhawks oh good! Thought it was on mondays. Yeah cause it's on almost all day!

Jan 28, 2024 11:38 PM #201

Chiefs fans = stress added on every year

Jan 29, 2024 12:21 AM #202

@kjayhawks play clean

Avoid TOs and stupid penalties

Jan 29, 2024 01:53 AM #203

Wow this game has turned

Jan 29, 2024 02:17 AM #204

Wow why is Campbell going for on 4th down again smh what an idiot

Jan 29, 2024 02:38 AM #205

Is the ref we don't like doing this game? White hat?

Jan 29, 2024 03:47 AM #206

@Crimsonorblue22 Cheffers didn’t make the post season. Graded too low. Vinovich, the ref that called the Chiefs win over the 49ers in the SB (Tyreek Hill’s big catch - jet chip wasp play) will officiate the Super Bowl. - that’s a good deal.

Jan 29, 2024 03:54 AM #207

Dan Campbell at the blackjack table with an 18, “hit me, I like to live dangerously” lol

Jan 29, 2024 05:34 PM #208

:party_popper: Chiefs!

NFL: This squad is coming for the record books.

(feeling spoiled right now after 50 years of frustration. Detroit, I get it.)

Jan 30, 2024 12:58 AM #209

Good grief, 4 years of Brock Purdy beating KU football and now, somehow he's leading the 49ers against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. Mr. Irrelevant has more passing yds than Mahomes, more TDs and fewer INTs this year. This has got to be some kind of curse.

Jan 30, 2024 08:01 PM #210

@stoptheflop I’m not sold on Purdy at all personally, he was atrocious for 3 quarters against GB and the first half vs Detroit. He had a much easier SOS to throw for 90 more yards in the regular season. I hope the 49ers are as stupid as the Ravens and try to throw the ball 40 plus times with the best running back in the nfl. Ravens bread and butter was running all year. That is also the chiefs struggle defensively and as stopping the run. Poor coaching not Lamar cost the Ravens.

Jan 31, 2024 12:21 AM #211

@stoptheflop Sorry, but I don't follow NFL that much, and I know I could look it up but who did Purdy play for? How good was he? Like not against us because everyone against us was Joe Namath, but against real competition?

Game coming up would have been more interesting had Detroit decided that going to a Super Bowl is not worth the bother. Revenge game kind of for the Chiefs, and maybe much of the world against the Chiefs because Detroit has a very blah history with big NFL games, and well the Chiefs are the dynasty that many want to see get dethroned. But KC/SF, I'll pull for the Chiefs although I kind of dislike the tomahawk chop thing, needs to go by the wayside. (do chief fans still do it?). But SF fans don't need to win another Super Bowl either. They get to live in perpetual nice weather with spectacular scenery all around, but at least they are still paying like 5 bucks for gas unlike the rest of us!

Jan 31, 2024 01:25 AM #212

@wissox Purdy - Iowa State/49ers.

Purdy has fantastic weapons in San Fran. Aiyuk is amazing, Debo is versatile and tough. Kittles is on the same level as Kelce when healthy. Mccaffrey is a great running back and is a better pass catcher than most of the Chiefs receivers. All the toys a rookie QB contract can afford you.

What they don’t have is Mahomes and nearly as stingy of a defense. Should be another good game.

Jan 31, 2024 04:24 AM #213

@dylans Thanks, now I don't have to watch 5 hours of pregame shows!

Jan 31, 2024 07:03 AM #214

As a Bay Area guy who has watched all but one of Purdy’s games this year…

He can get the job done. Agreed that he finally executed poorly vs GB, but that was rare this season.

You’d think that he mostly dinks and dunks to his elite weapons, and he does, but he tosses some deep, accurate passes too. They can look like wobblers though! He’s smart, usually makes the proper choice. He did show a lack of poise at times late in the season though.

I am purely a Chiefs fan, but very much enjoy watching the 49ers play. Exciting weapons.

There's no way a Brock Purdy led team should be able to beat a Patrick Mahomes led team. No way

Chiefs not even my # 1 team as you know BUT I think the difference between the 2 QB's is night and day- -- MAHOLMES much better -- MUCH BETTER I think Purdy is so over rated - -I think Patrick going to have a big game
