Parent teacher conferences last night and this morning means early dismissal and no school on the best day of the year to not have to go to work!

@wissox LUCKY! Usually opening weekend is Spring Break for me, but not this year.

@benshawks08 But I have to go to a conference tomorrow, so should be able to keep a game on my phone going!

But I sold out and work for the district now, so having a game up on my phone while I do other things isn't totally impossible. Just having a hard time really getting into the tournament with where KU is at right now.

Long Beach St and coach Dan Monson playing. I love the story of him getting fired and asked if he could coach the conference tournament and then won the thing so they're now playing....and beating....Arizona!

Almost have to watch the BYU game with the sound off. Deb Antonelli is so bad

Does anyone think that since Duquenses nickname is the Dukes that the refs think they're supposed to favor them? They've benefitted from some really bad calls during this 2nd half. Makes me nervous for Wisconsin against the James Madison Dukes tomorrow night too.

It sucks BYU couldn't win, makes our league look even worse. All w hear like every year how tough this league is, then BYU goes out and promptly loses to Duq , the same BYU team that came into teh phog and whipped KU's ass huh, Maybe that's why we hate them so bad huh? - because it makes us look even that much worse. People should be pulling for the Conference . Wonder how bad DUQ would of beat us

They ARE a member of the league they are full participant's in the sports, football past Season - Basketball , if they were eligible for the conference title, they are in the league- -they have been voted in

I'm shocked by what's happening in the Gonzaga-McNeese game. I was born in Lake Charles and going to McNeese foot all and basketball games was my introduction to college sports so I'll always have a soft spot for the Cowboys.

To be honest, if I was Kentucky, I'd be a bit sore about how the game was officiated. It was tight enough early on. But Oakland is making the shots even though Kentucky is making shots as well.. It's been an impressive second half.

Any team that wins this tournament has to have the ability to hit 3s at a pretty high rate. It's a different era than 10 or so years ago.
