A bit early but offseason has started and teams have started to make deals.

To my pleasant surprise Royals are keeping Wacha on a 3 year deal worth $51M.

This is a good move to keep starting pitching intact which was Royals strength this year.

Nov 05, 2024 05:42 PM #2

Witt is a gold glover too. Very nice.

Nov 20, 2024 09:35 PM #3

There is a report of trade brewing between Royals and Reds for India in exchange for Singer.

Royals believe they have enough starting pitching depth to part ways with Singer to get a quality batter with high OBP.

Dec 19, 2024 06:01 PM #4

After losing on Soto, Yanks have been very busy signing free agents

Bellinger is a nice get

Dec 19, 2024 07:01 PM #5

@AsadZ didn't realize they had - -Got a nice pitcher and a nice bullpen player- - Starter I think name is Freed I think from the brewers

Feb 22, 2025 07:17 PM #6

Spring training has finally started.

I hope to see interaction from fans of many different teams as season goes along.

Mar 28, 2025 07:29 PM #7

Tough loss on opening night.

I wish JJ had upgraded outfield position, need much better production.

Mar 28, 2025 07:47 PM #8

Base running killed us! Dumb!

Mar 29, 2025 07:36 PM #9

Mercy NY has hit NINE home runs today and just curb stomping Milwaukee-- -20 -6 in the top of the eight. Judge has hit three home runs and eight RBI''

Mar 29, 2025 11:55 PM #10

Royals had a nice win!

Apr 19, 2025 11:50 AM #11

One of the worst hitting teams in MLB so far this year.

Apr 19, 2025 03:15 PM #12

Batting slump. Big time. 8/10 in last night’s lineup hitting .208 or worse. Only Witt & Garcia hitting at all.

Apr 19, 2025 04:32 PM #13

@Gorilla72 didn't we leave a lot on base?

Apr 19, 2025 08:36 PM #14

@Crimsonorblue22 - 14!

Jun 02, 2025 12:13 PM #15

So so frustrating to watch Royals hitting, wasting outstanding pitching this year. They just cannot score runs.

Jun 02, 2025 12:46 PM #16

@AsadZ maybe Caglianone will provide a boost

Jun 03, 2025 12:09 PM #17

@dylans Lets hope so

Not addressing outfield hitting was a big mistake by JJ

Jun 03, 2025 03:32 PM #18

Hunter Renfroe was such a huge letdown they waived him and ate a huge contract. Should the GM be able to predict a rapid descent like that?

Jun 04, 2025 12:05 AM #19

@mayjay i know nothing about renfroe, just looked at his stats. While i see the decline this year, he looks like a poor career hitter on the tail end of his career.

Jun 04, 2025 02:07 AM #20

The boys are playing some ball!⚾️💥

Jun 05, 2025 12:27 PM #21

Malendez was a red flag last year but they kept him, turned out to be a mistake.

Jun 05, 2025 02:45 PM #22

We should be thrilled they’re competitive at least. Future looks bright

Jun 07, 2025 03:54 PM #23

We beat the Royals!!

Jun 07, 2025 05:35 PM #24

@wissox lol

If Salvy and Cags start hitting the lineup changes dramatically…. Feels like this team is due for a run.

I’d also change the order around. Garcia, Witt, Cags (get him more fastballs), Vinnie, Salvy, India.

India needs moved out of the leadoff spot.

Jun 08, 2025 09:16 PM #27

Jac 4-4!💙💪🏼⚾️

Jun 09, 2025 12:11 PM #28

Singer - India trade has not panned out well for Royals, Reds got better deal.

Jun 11, 2025 12:24 PM #29

If Royals are breakeven at All Star break should they sell?

Lorenzen is a good candidate, even Lugo.

Jun 11, 2025 12:54 PM #30

@AsadZ .500 baseball from the Royals is all I want. Just be competitive. Not sure what the ownership expects - but they have no bats. I wonder what makes Sherman more money - being a playoff team, hovering around .500 ir just stinking up the joint while not spending any money?

Jun 11, 2025 12:59 PM #31

https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/45489795/chisholm-feud-garcia-reignites-yankees-royals ↗

This is funny. The guy that launched head first into another guys knees is upset that he slapped his helmet with the glove in a bad tag attempt. lol Yankees are so entitled. Just a routine play

Jun 12, 2025 12:19 PM #32

@dylans Royals are last in runs scored in AL

Jun 13, 2025 12:10 PM #33

Swept by Bronx Bombers, 1-0 yesterday.

Jul 13, 2025 01:53 PM #34

I say trade everyone if price is good except Witt and Salvy

Jul 13, 2025 02:41 PM #35

@AsadZ I’m not ready to give up on Jac yet! The season sure, but he’s got untapped potential.

Jul 13, 2025 09:13 PM #36

@dylans yeah he is really struggling perhaps was not ready for mlb pitching but keep him

Keep Cameron as well

Jul 13, 2025 09:41 PM #37

Today was fun! Almost like the usual, ahead til the end then lose it. Fun walk off! 💪🏼⚾️ Speed helps!

Jul 15, 2025 12:16 PM #38

Yes, hopefully we will have more like these in 2nd half.

Jul 22, 2025 03:25 AM #39

Royals are playing some ball!⚾️💪💙

Jul 29, 2025 04:34 AM #40

RIP, Ryne Sandberg. You don't have to be a fan of the team to appreciate how great of a player he was. I was fortunate to be in the stands when he hit the two homers off Bruce Sutter.

I'm also blessed as many know to have survived prostate cancer. Stage 3 was what they called it. Guys around 50 get your PSA checked. Simple blood test. Prostate cancer is the leading cancer afflicting men, although most detect it early with the PSA test, and many learn they can live with it for many years as my 93 year old dad can attest. He's had it for 20+ years.

Jul 29, 2025 12:31 PM #41

@wissox So you were at the “The Sandberg” game? Nice!

Jul 29, 2025 02:41 PM #42

@dylans Yes! Stood at the exit to run out of the stadium to beat traffic....twice! Couldn't see the ball as I was down the right field line looking into the hazy sunlight.

Jul 31, 2025 02:17 AM #43

@wissox Ditto on the prostate cancer. As some may know, I was diagnosed 9 years ago when I was 51 (officially oligometastatic, aka stage 4).

I've been lucky to have state-of-the-art care. And every year, there are advances in the treatment which keeps me hopeful.

The diagnosis has certainly given me perspective... as well as vast new domain of knowledge. To survive with it, I've learned more about prostate cancer and its treatments than I ever would have imagined. Open invite to anyone who has need for info -- I'm happy to share what I've learned.

Aug 01, 2025 03:07 PM #44

@bskeet Thankful for your positive outlook. Glad you're doing well.

Aug 01, 2025 04:53 PM #45

Great moves by the Royals.

Aug 02, 2025 12:57 PM #46

@BShark Well, the Yaz one started nicely!

Aug 20, 2025 02:07 AM #47

Royals! ⚾️💙 not to shabby! Bobby Whitt jr! Unreal record!

Aug 21, 2025 12:23 PM #48

They now have a shot at WC spot

Aug 31, 2025 12:21 AM #49

Lugo has lost his command since landing two year 46M contract extension

Aug 31, 2025 01:46 AM #50

2 games out

Sep 06, 2025 11:37 AM #51

Somehow only 1 out now!

Sep 06, 2025 12:14 PM #52

6 wins in a row for my team!

Sep 06, 2025 11:59 PM #53

Witt not playing tonight. Left last night's game in 7th inning with back spasms. Why can't we have nice things?

Sep 07, 2025 01:41 AM #54

@mayjay winning big though!

Sep 07, 2025 12:39 PM #55

@Crimsonorblue22 1 game out of the wild card spot now!

Sep 07, 2025 01:25 PM #56

The two pitchers KC got in Fermin's trade are doing well, seems to be a good trade.

Sep 07, 2025 02:39 PM #57

Tough stretch coming up, let's see if they can hold on

Sep 10, 2025 12:50 PM #58

Not looking good now.

Cant score runs.

Sep 10, 2025 01:10 PM #59

@AsadZ The Royal late schedule it pretty tough.

Sep 13, 2025 05:12 PM #60

KC should try young players now for remaining 14 games.

No need for Salvy to catch.

Bench Lorenzen, bring prospects from Omaha.

Sep 13, 2025 10:42 PM #61

Salvy just hit career hr 300 and 1000 rbi’s!⚾️💥

Sep 15, 2025 01:01 AM #62

Hard to say moral victory with it looking like the royals are going to miss out on the postseason but it’s nice to at least meaningful baseball in September. A lot of years I spent watching the royals with my late grandfather that wasn’t the case 99% of the time.

Sep 16, 2025 11:28 PM #63

They had very strong pitching especially in first half but offense was simply horrible. Then injuries plagued them.

They need to get a few good hitters in the offseason, guys who can hit with runners in scoring position.

Sep 29, 2025 03:56 PM #64

The royals end finishing the year 82-80, think they have some key pieces to build off of but man we have to find some offense outside of Bobby this offseason.

Sep 29, 2025 05:01 PM #65

Jensen is really good!

Sep 29, 2025 05:42 PM #66

Yaz seems like a decent pickup - is he signed for next year too?

Oct 31, 2025 03:38 AM #67

?s=46&t=rLCwrAz65EwOY67er__2xQ

Really cool story

Oct 31, 2025 02:06 PM #68

Dang. Way to save yourself for the right one!

Nov 03, 2025 12:00 AM #69

Back to back for Dodgers

They are so good

Nov 03, 2025 03:26 PM #70

@AsadZ That’s what a lack of a salary cap and an owner with deep pockets that wants to win looks like. Used to be the Yankmes until the ownership changed hands. Baseball needs competitive balance.

I wonder when all that deferred money will catch up with them? Think it’s in escrow? I don’t.
