Great win in front of a huge national TV audience

I’ll add the fact that our strength of schedule was in the 90s to start the year and now it’s top 5 in the country. We supposedly lucked out playing ASU instead of Arizona, not playing OSU, Utah and UCF. We play the top 9 teams in this conference with Baylor coming up in a week.

Illinois was supposed to be a team that had to make a bowl to keep their the coach. They are now have 8 wins and are ranked in the top 25. UNLV lost a lot in the transfer portal and was a big question mark. They too are now a top 25 team in the CFB. Every single FBS team we have played is bowl eligible except Houston most have been for weeks. Lindenwood who just moved up to FCS competition wasn’t supposed to win more than 2 games. Even they finished their season 5-7 much better than expected. The combined record of our opponents is unbelievable. Moral of the story is preseason rankings don’t mean much.

The only player on that team I’m interested in drafting is Hunter the rest are gonna get humbled real fast on Sundays. Now I’ll give them some credit they are 8-3 and will make a bowl game but have only played one ranked team and have a very weak schedule. I’ve literally never seen a team with less class and composure than them yesterday. It makes it really funny because KU completely dominated them in every aspect of the game. Better play calling in the red zone and that’s a 25 plus point victory for the hawks.

Damon Greaves our punter had his family make the trip to KC from Australia to watch him play yesterday…… he never got to punt lol good problem to run into. I’m sure they still enjoyed the game and being able to see Damon for the first time in months

I personally don’t think the hit was that egregious on Sanders, in real time it’s slightly late and WRs,RBs, TEs, etc take hits like that on daily basis.
