Nov 30, 2024 10:28 PM #2

Need some encouragement after dismal end to FB season

Nov 30, 2024 10:31 PM #3

So, did anybody explain why and how Storr started the last game? interesting.

Nov 30, 2024 10:38 PM #4

@BShark we good!❤️💙🏀

Nov 30, 2024 10:41 PM #5

Wooo

Nov 30, 2024 10:42 PM #6

Excited about this one. #4 is the son of hs classmate. I met him several times. Nice kid.

Nov 30, 2024 10:46 PM #7

Lookin good

Nov 30, 2024 10:49 PM #8

Devonte is the bomb

Nov 30, 2024 10:50 PM #9

Wow, nice pass

Nov 30, 2024 10:51 PM #10

Furman is better than Duke.

Nov 30, 2024 10:52 PM #11

They can shoot, like 42% on the year

Nov 30, 2024 10:52 PM #12

Furman making everything contested. Can't last. Frustrating

Nov 30, 2024 10:56 PM #13

Griffen with the matador D.

Nov 30, 2024 10:57 PM #14

What is a palidan?

Nov 30, 2024 10:58 PM #15

Seems like we are struggling with the cuts on d. Need a 3 to go down to get the momentum going.

Nov 30, 2024 10:59 PM #16

@Crimsonorblue22 My niece is a Paladin. Isn't it a horse?

Nov 30, 2024 10:59 PM #17

She's a horse?

Nov 30, 2024 11:00 PM #18

@Crimsonorblue22 Oh, I was mistaken it's like a knight or something. She did go to Furman

Nov 30, 2024 11:01 PM #19

KJ explodes to the hoop.

Nov 30, 2024 11:02 PM #20

KJs confidence is at all time hi

Nov 30, 2024 11:05 PM #21

"all time hi"!!

Nov 30, 2024 11:08 PM #22

Ugly stretch here.

Nov 30, 2024 11:09 PM #23

More bs

Nov 30, 2024 11:15 PM #24

A bit better

Nov 30, 2024 11:15 PM #25

Harris already has 5 assists

Nov 30, 2024 11:16 PM #26

Adams playing well. Can notice the effort on both ends. Really seems to be bouncing around there

Nov 30, 2024 11:37 PM #27

Mixed bag. We're fortunate they missed a lot of wide open 3s - just don't understand why we struggle to guard the arc against a team that relies on taking a lot of 3 pt shots. Perhaps they are fortunate that we couldn't any shots from the arc - 0-6. Another recurring issue - not getting to the FT line, esp. at home. Do love KJ energy on both ends.

Nov 30, 2024 11:45 PM #28

Juan a killa

Nov 30, 2024 11:46 PM #29

Confidence helps

Nov 30, 2024 11:48 PM #30

I thought Hunter would have come out with much more energy after getting bounced last game. Not so much; I'm disappointed with his play

But the difference from a year ago is that we don't have to rely on him scoring...

Nov 30, 2024 11:50 PM #32

KJ so LOCKED IN

Nov 30, 2024 11:50 PM #33

Nice D KJ

Nov 30, 2024 11:52 PM #34

Hunt doesn’t Dunk

Reminds me of Twins in their freshman year

Saving energy…

And, more disappointing is AJ. Getting the start, but only 2 pts and no RBs...

Nov 30, 2024 11:53 PM #36

Thanks espn for showing the dunk.

You freaking amateurs

Nov 30, 2024 11:59 PM #37

KJ 2 pts away from his career high of 22 which he's hit twice

Dec 01, 2024 12:10 AM #44

Juan!💪🏽

Dec 01, 2024 12:22 AM #45

This is the Juan I’ve always envisioned, 8 and 8 on a nightly basis

Dec 01, 2024 12:27 AM #46

Great game.

Dec 01, 2024 12:28 AM #47

Pretty solid outing after a slow start. Only gripes I have is we could’ve hit a few more open 3s and cut down on the turnovers. Got a road test Wednesday

Dec 01, 2024 12:30 AM #48

KJ

Dec 01, 2024 12:30 AM #49

Zach got the floor 🔥

Dec 01, 2024 12:32 AM #50

35 pts from the bench and 20 boards

Adams tied career high with 22

Harris with 8 dimes. 17 dimes to 2 turnovers last 2 games. Studd

Dec 01, 2024 12:36 AM #51

Roots Rockabilly, baby! Love it.

Dec 01, 2024 01:48 AM #55

@BShark

2 very impressive games from him. Juan and him have made a leap

Dec 01, 2024 01:57 AM #56

KU scores 86 and only has 2 in double figures. Didn't get to watch due to driving back from Waco, but sounded like that 3 from Furman that made it a 1 point game is what lit the fire because KU outscored Furman 59-25 over the last 26 minutes of the game.

Dec 01, 2024 02:57 AM #57

@BeddieKU23 Thing is KJ is doing multiple things doing a lot even going to the Offensive boars a lil better

Dec 01, 2024 03:02 AM #58

One thing I love to see is sure nice to have more people that can spell our starters - - - Coit had a good game/solid-- - -had nine players that contributed to the cause , got some depth this year big difference. -- Flory played well --KJ wasa really good for the 2nd game in a row , Juan playing better.- -Big tests coming up this week

Yeah, 7 turnovers is inexcusable.

Dec 01, 2024 04:42 AM #60

@mayjay haha you have to be a little picky after that one lol there were a few that were egregious.

Dec 01, 2024 01:23 PM #61

Here are some numbers I like to see , keep those legs fresh, pretty sweet to have some depth for a change. - - -

    • Hunter -- ( 24 min ) - -Juan ( 26 min ) -- -KJ -( 27 min )--- Zeke - -( 27 min ) ---- Storr --( 23 min - -? )

Coit- -( 23 min )- - Flory - -( 15 min- ) -Rylan -- ( 16 min )- -& Passmore - -( 8 min - -( - Love thoss times, Depth is nice

Dec 01, 2024 06:24 PM #62

@SlimShaddy54 our agents have submitted their reports and we have determined that you are in fact a genuine jayballer.

Will DM you later about recovering old account.

Dec 01, 2024 07:01 PM #63

Dec 01, 2024 08:49 PM #64

@Crimsonorblue22 break the camera

Dec 01, 2024 09:31 PM #65

Of anyone or thing

Dec 02, 2024 05:15 AM #66

Finally watching. Some thoughts!

  • Big picture, we have every piece to win a natty. You can see the bulb flickering for Rylan and AJ

  • Flory is a DUDE. Can’t wait to see how he develops the next year or two.

  • Juan is our MVP. He just makes play after play after play. If there’s action, he’s in the middle of it.

  • Zeke is a terrific guard. He does a lot of things well. Once his shot falls he might be our best player.

  • Hunt is just an anchor. We know what we have here. Limitations and all, but we’re better when we can feed him

  • This is a terrific passing team. Juan, Zeke, KJ, and Hunt are all really good passers. Look out once the shooters find their rhythm

  • You can see AJ and Rylan getting there. AJ had a couple deflections, Rylan was more aggressive. We should drop all the money to keep them another year.

  • Lol at the KU Twitter hive mind that said KJ can’t play. If they need someone trained in stats to talk hash tag # analytics lmk

Dec 02, 2024 01:00 PM #67

@FarmerJayhawk Yeah Dajuan Harris is actually our best player. Rylan and AJ are playing within themselves for the most part now, big system adjustment for both.

Zeke is right there with Juan and KJ in minutes played. That probably doesn't get discussed enough. Deep in the Circle of Trust :trade_mark:

Dec 02, 2024 01:05 PM #68

Read yesterday that Coach Self is wanting to run Hunter and Flory together a little more , saying he think Flory and Hunter can play together not big periods of time but like 5 minute runs. Interesting

Dec 02, 2024 03:07 PM #69

I've honestly been really impressed with how well AJ and Rylan are fitting in even if they haven't had any breakout games yet. They seem like willing passers and while still figuring out what is and isn't a good shot in the KU system, seem to be growing in that regard. Rylan plays D hard if not always super well. He really challenges at the rim when he is coming for weakside help. AJ still thinks going for steals is what good D is but the want to is there. And the fact that we were able to bring in all of this talent and the attitudes seem to be all in line is the real success right now. Doesn't feel like any of them are worried about playing time, shot attempts, or anything like that. Love it!

Having guys that care about the front of the jersey matters a lot. I have heard KJ and Juan have been huge with helping everyone integrate.

Dec 02, 2024 05:43 PM #71

@BShark their accolades are proof of that!

Dec 02, 2024 05:56 PM #72

@Crimsonorblue22 play hard chart! Bruce would be proud

Dec 02, 2024 06:15 PM #73

@BShark nah, playing for KU! Team! Yuck on him!

Dec 03, 2024 07:25 PM #74

While it was late in the game with nothing still on the line, I thought Zach C did a good job with his limited minutes. If I recall correctly, he had 3 rebounds, dove on the court for a loose ball and made a good outlet pass when he got it, and made a good pass on the fast break without taking a dribble. No fumbling the ball like earlier in the year. He always sprints up the court on O and D and gets involved in most plays. There will likely be a few games where, due to fouls and injuries, having a fourth playable big will be crucial, and I like seeing sign we may have one.

Dec 04, 2024 09:35 PM #75

It was the best Clemence has looked since his freshman season.

Fun game. Guys are generally finding their way in the system and, in some ways, they look good simply because this group is shooting better.

Next up @Creighton... will be difficult.
