Best win of the year. Every player looked great. first really good game of the year - our defense was dominant for huge swatches of this game. Greene, Perry, Jamari, Devonte, Frank,Wayne, and the Big Man Cliffie were total studs this game. What a tough minded team I saw today...hey Myles...you picked the wrong door!!!

He does have one Championship but the NCAA is a crap shoot with a lot of luck involved...

If KU wins 12 or 13 in row to tie or beat Wooden's streak, it would be one of the top 10 achievements in all sports, all-time. Wooden won most of his against much lesser competition. If KU is ready to win 12, the streak would be the talk of sports the entire season, no question about it.

I cannot say enough about the effort of our team, today on the road, against a pretty big Texas team. Every player that played today contributed. Zero turnovers in the 2nd half. Outstanding team effort. Unselfish team that is all about getting the win. Chemistry is starting to kick in. Hopefully, we can keep the momentum going.

The only team I am worried is still ISU, they are a bad match up for KU. KSU is playing surprisingly well and they always seem to get up for KU.

Many 1-2 point games usually end up this way and more often than not the home team gets the call. For a change we got one at ISU a couple of years ago and you rermember how well that went...

@Crimsonorblue22 It's taken me two games to shake that one off...lol. I felt like we were soft as a baby's butt in that one, and didn't show enough poise. this win today is a really special win on so many fronts because we played tough- we proved to ourselves we could beat height and length, and we could dismantle a tall team's defense just as well as a shorter team. That was some GREAT coaching from Mr. Self, and some GREAT execution from the good guys today. I am pumped.....

I am curious on how HEM spins this game to take credit away from Self; I am guessing it will be Barnes poor coaching. ROTFLMAO.

@JayHawkFanToo i predict the opposite - he will be thrilled with Coach's tremendous game plan, as we all are. What did you think of Greene's performance? i just think we have to let him get 20 minutes every game. My gosh, he is our biggest weapon, and he is a deadly 3 point shooter...

I indicated during the game that he should be in. He is a streaky player and when he is on...he is on, Today's game favored his offense since Texas was not extending the defense once the press was broken and it definitely favored Greene's style.

Rock Chalk Bucketeers!!! Appreciate the concern but son showed up at half so we all had lunch and chatted for awhile. I could hear the little beeps on the puter and really wanted to slip off to see what was going on. So after he left I fired up the TIVO and what an effort for the second half. I hope this one is the one that shows these kids what it takes to get #11. Fantastic double digit win on the road against a big Texas team. @brooksmd Excellent brooks, just excellent. Ya gotta see it. Eastwood directed one helluva flick. I liked the hell outta Gran Torino & this one even more. Oscar time in my book, maybe for he & Cooper both. War scenes are super intense & home scenes are just as great with a little timely humor & good one liners filling in blanks in quite dramatic & personal interactions between Kyle, his wife, & others. Don't want to give up too much but the end is sad, as you may assume. Let's just say I'd give it a +1000 HOOYAHS !! But you know I'm a SEAL guy anyway...

@globaljaybird I may have to sneak off and see it this week. Normally I hate spending the outlandish prices of theaters and wait on dvd. But some like Lone Survivor and Sniper I pay money for. Well did you at least record the rest of the game and watch it after you got home?

@brooksmd Lone Survivor with Mark Walberg. That was a really really good movie. Stayed fairly close to the book too. Man, what those guys go through. Its literally insane. Havent seen Sniper yet but I plan on it.

@brooksmd I ordered 2 books from amazon just last week & one arrived yesterday but Sniper is not here yet. Have also read SEAL of Honor also & there will be a movie made of Murphy's story as well. In fact I've read 7-8 of the SEAL series books in the past half dozen years., & enjoy that a lot during the winter months.

@brooksmd we have an old historic movie theatre, they show movies about a year or so old, 5 bucks for 2. They just put in a new digital and sound system. It's such a cool, old place, beautiful. Lots of people go.

@Lulufulu Its playing all over the entire KCKS & KCMO metro & we still had to reserve tics a week in advance. Well worth the wait-I highly recommend it unless one is a pacifist. They'll see it & shoot off their mouths like Moore, Maher or Rogen. That ungrateful fool Rogen just damn near succeeded in starting WWIII with his failed acute & clever sense of idiocy & stupidity. Some of these semi famous public whiners oughta just be bitch slapped & put back inside the door IMO. Sorry gotta let it go-too political for buckets.

@Crimsonorblue22 I definitely did some partying for you guys. I ended up drinking with Gregor Clegane of The Game of Thrones Fame. The game was absolutely unreal. the section we sat in was mostly Jayhawks as were a few other sections throughout the game we all chanted lets go Jayhawks and it was loud!! We definitely travel well. The slow chant is the most hauntingly beautiful thing especially in an opponents house!

@brooksmd Craig Morgan, ex Army Ranger, country singer & performer, & almost 20 year vet replied to Rogen the other day. Morgan said he should be humbled & thankful for men like Kyle who give their lives so idiots like he can have the freedom to say all the stupid Schizz he is currently posting on twitter. Lotsa battle lines being drawn over this story.

@Crimsonorblue22 Ha I'm recovered now I was supposed to work yesterday at 0700 but I was too dang tired from the drive. I drove both ways a little over 700 miles each way. It was well worth it though and most definitely you are welcome to ride down with me next year! I didn't get to meet up with anyone before the game, we got to the hotel around 0400 and didn't wake up til around 1030 and we ate breakfast and barely made it to the game before tip. I wanted to go to the TCA game too but can't since it's in the middle of the week. I'm going to try and make it to a couple more games this year at the Fieldhouse this year. I'll be there when we play WVU for sure since it's on my birthday, and someone always buys me tickets :)
