Three simple options to end court storming:

• Option 1 - Become a KU fan. We expect to win every game at home against all comers and we don't storm the court...we've been there before.

• Option 2 - Become an elite program, like KU, that expects to win every game and usually does.

• Option 3 - See Option 1

I am asking too much from KSU fans to follow the logic?

Oh, I have no doubt there's stupid ku fans out there, as in every fanbase...BUT theres a large segment of ksu and iowast (&mizzoo) fanbase that are just like this wussy, or fully condone it. Theres even KU people trying to justify it for them, or trying to be 'conciliatory' to these effin pricks that pushed our coach physically, & assaulted/threatened our people.

Dont anybody give some weak-knee'd argument about 'fellow Kansans'...no, we're not all alike. And they made our State look bad on national TV.

Even in the moment of a gift victory for them, they found a way to invite scorn & ridicule upon themselves. And they completely 1-upped Melvin Weathermax!

Sorry for the lockerroom tone, but what they did has no place in collegiate sports. They deserve to get called out in the worst way. There is NOTHING to be conciliatory about, its their starkly sole mistake!!!!!!!

I heard Kevin Kietzman say yesterday that he knows this kid and is a friend of his daughter. Said he is a very nice kid and he would be very proud of his daughter if she were to bring him home with her sometime and tell her dad that she had become engaged to him.

Times have changed. Even if my father thought kindly of a kid he knew he would hold him accountable for something stupid like this. And he held me accountable too.

I'm sure the crowd yelling "F*&k you KU" was all fired up-thinking this chant is okay and there were those who were taking it a step further on the court. My dad would have kicked my butt for cussing at anyone.
And I hold my kids accountable as most in our community do-but in general our culture these days doesn't.

I still marvel of how the Japanese handled the earthquake/tsunami that devastated parts of the country including huge power outage issues and nuclear meltdown possibilities. And had zero social breakdown,

The bright side of this is that KSU only has 4 or 5 more games left until their season is over.

From that point on their only option is to watch us play basketball on tv, or watch chickens reproduce. Knowing how much they like to husband and midwife animals, I'm guessing they will be doing the latter.

What's really sad now is their court storming was really a moronic mob riot that meant nothing. They storm the court and put players at risk. @brooksmd Actually consider some faraway fans watching this natl espn game--> they may not have a formed opinion of the State of Kansas, or any sort of feel for KSU. Well that neutral observer's perception just got "ruined". Ksu people pull another such stunt, and then it would be "reinforced".

What if UNC or Duke people were watching this game, they know everybody hates royalty programs...should they be worried about their own players safety?

Court storming is not cool. It reminds me of "stage storming" and a bad incident back in the 70s I had sitting at the front of a Rolling Stones concert. That was terrifying.
