Just wish they died by it against KU. Heh.

Nov 23, 2016 02:43 AM #4

@BShark never happens to us!

Nov 23, 2016 02:50 AM #5

@BShark or we could have shot closer to our average. We had no business losing that game.

Nov 23, 2016 02:55 AM #6

@HawkChamp

Agreed!

Nov 23, 2016 02:58 AM #7

Yeah it was a crap loss for so many reasons.

Nov 23, 2016 03:06 AM #8

Indiana down 2 at halftime. Can only imagine how bad they must be playing for that game to be that close

Nov 23, 2016 04:31 AM #9

Fort Wayne happy, Indiana not so much. IU failed in OT. Perhaps KU climbs the ladder to #4.

@BShark

Or is it Fort Wayne that's out to get us!!!?

Nov 23, 2016 04:40 PM #11

@BShark Too funny...lmao.

Nice article here about Indiana going to Fort Wayne. Mastadon coach sounds like a class act.

It would be similar to us going down to Wichita, which I hope never happens as long as GREGGGGGG is coaching there.

Nov 23, 2016 09:29 PM #14

@BShark I would enjoy us going to Wichita because it would be a talked about and anticipated game. I'd also enjoy them coming to us. I'd much rather watch us play them than our next opponent UNC Asheville.

Nov 23, 2016 10:44 PM #15

I'm all for playing WSU. In Lawrence or KC.

Nov 24, 2016 01:54 AM #16

@wissox not me!

Dec 01, 2016 05:09 PM #17

Well they beat UNC, there goes my witty theory. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Dec 01, 2016 06:30 PM #18

@BShark

Held up for a while....

Dec 01, 2016 07:38 PM #19

@drgnslayr you are being rather nice, for @wissox fu. He will never hear the end of that! And he shouldn't!

Its kinda crazy they have two great wins and one terrible loss.

Dec 02, 2016 02:55 AM #21

ISU playing Cincinnati on espn, currently down 25-24 at the half, they haven't look to sharp in this one, its in Ames.

Dec 02, 2016 03:30 AM #22

@kjayhawks no magic?

Dec 02, 2016 03:44 AM #23

@Crimsonorblue22

The magic moved to Chicago, now all they have left is smoke and mirrors.😎

Dec 02, 2016 04:03 AM #24

@Crimsonorblue22 Apparently not just lost in OT 55-54. Very low scoring and ugly. Boy the B12 looks like junk to put it nicely. I've now watched our games of coarse and at least one game by KSU, ISU, Texas, TT and OSU, and honestly KSU looked better than everyone but us of that group. We look head and shoulders above everyone to this point.

Dec 02, 2016 04:16 AM #25

@kjayhawks except for Faylor, yes the Big 12 is down. To ensure a number one seed, I think two losses in conference would keep us in contention. Faylor will be the toughest

In the 50s in OT is reaaaaaally rough.

CyFan isn't exactly taking this loss well. Lol.

Dec 02, 2016 11:10 AM #28

Cincinnati gave out the blueprint on how to beat Iowa St. Slow down the pace to a crawl, take good shots and make them guard you. If you play to ISU's tempo they get shots and they look better then they are because volume will overcome weaknesses.

ISU still pushes the pace after missed/made shots which was one of the biggest factors in why KU lost in Ames last year. I doubt we will slow the pace, we like to play fast as well.

Cincinnati has a nice team, they play a tough style of play that is hard to beat if you don't shoot the ball. Washington- the transfer from NC St looks much improved and is an upgrade to what they had last year in the post.

Dec 02, 2016 03:31 PM #29

@BeddieKU23 Coach Haase remembers that plan from UAB lol. Yes it looked like a old big east game where if you shoot in the high 30% range your good.

Dec 02, 2016 04:18 PM #30

@BeddieKU23 ISU have any bench? How's their big guy? Burton playing on the perimeter? Saw him throwing up a lot of shots the last game

Dec 02, 2016 05:26 PM #31

@Crimsonorblue22

They should be playing 9 guys once Young gets healthy. Morris is their only player I'd want on KU. Burton is decent and their 2nd best player by a lot. Long shoots more than he should.
