Gonna be an interesting season
Nov 25, 2016 11:06 PM #1

Looks like it's gonna be interesting the championship always has - -and until proven different will always run through Lawrence - -but like it or not - - Looks like Baylor has got a pretty salty ball club this year, down 22 to Louisville and comes back and wins, pretty sweet. - - Think it will be Baylor & then West Virginia, & Iowa State as our challengers this season, nothing given - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@jayballer54 Holy cow Baylor won!? They were down 20 at the half!

WVU got beat though. Bummer for Huggy bear.

I seriously thought KU would go undefeated in conference play this season but in light of recent developments, I am recanting my earlier statements.

But, that said, I dont doubt that Self will get it done again this season. Lucky # 13! tying UCLA for most in a row all time. Word.

Then, our bigs need to heal up and play like Men so we can make a run at the Final Four.

@Lulufulu ya, Baylor actually largest deficit was 22 and they won - -they gonna be salty,, Still runs through Lawrence and trust the phog, just got to get our big's to going. - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY.

I'm shocked they came back but good for Baylor, they have some key wins already and are not hiding behind cupcake schedules.

They have a lot of size and upgrades at positions with veterans. Going to be a tough out.

@BeddieKU23

I believe we sweep them still but Motley is a load.

@jayballer54 Great win for them, but Scott Drew man.

Bearing karma in mind, Lecomte (sp?) is their only guard that really even belongs on the floor with our guys athletically and such.

No question that Baylor has been the surprise team so far and they do have a couple of impressive wins. Unfortunately for them, they still have Scott Drew that will manage to screw up as he usually does.

@JayHawkFanToo Dreadful Drew has won his days in the sun quite early this season. By the time he arrives at AFH maybe he again will bear the cocksure edginess to drag his troops to the corridor during our pre-game video presentation. Actually, I would enjoy seeing that once more...then awaiting the resounding impact of our output vs. the Bears for a few more memorable seasons. In this league we really need a feisty coach whom fans dependably love to hate.

@REHawk still have shaka

Nov 26, 2016 06:43 PM #13

@Crimsonorblue22 Very well could - - but Baylor bigs might have a hay day against our bigs -- and no don't say Udoka, he is improving but not there yet Motley just might go off - - - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@JayHawkFanToo IS that the Same Scott Drew that just got through Coaching against Louisville?

Nov 26, 2016 07:14 PM #15

Believe I mentioned this before but Baylor's zone helps them in the non-con but hurts them in the conference imho.

Nov 26, 2016 07:29 PM #16

@jayballer54 we don't play them for another two months or so. He has time to improve

Nov 26, 2016 08:44 PM #17

Josh Jackson has taken over for Perry in the middle of the zone. He's done an excellent job making decisions to score or hit the open man. Lucas showed a little bit of form from last year in the second half. Both he and Bragg played better. Our early schedule set both of them back a bit.

@wrwlumpy our upcoming schedule should help them get back in the groove.

Things always return to the mean. Yes, he did a good job against Louisville but soon he will go back to blowing big games, hopefully against KU.
