TCU vs SMU
Dec 08, 2016 01:57 AM #1

TCU is playing SMU on the road on ESPN news. My first look at them this year, they are down 5 at the half. They have played ok defense but are settling for contested jump shots on offense. They are sneaky on the offensive glass. Anyone else watching?

@kjayhawks Welp - -there goes Jamie's undefeated season lol, Seriously they didn't look so good tonight, at times pretty ragged - -maybe off night - - ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

@jayballer54 Ya I couldn't even tell what they were running on offense a little pick and roll with a ton of standing around waiting for someone else to take over.

UNC getting all they want from Davidson currently. We play them later and tell you they look pretty salty. Got a big named Aldrich that will probably go for 25 plus on our weak post defense and solid guard named gibbs. If not for UNC's Justin Jackson going nuts from 3, 7 for 11 right now. Davidson maybe ahead, 5 minutes left 67-76.

Davidson gets it down to 3 in the last 2 minutes but the zebras makes sure UNC doesn't lose at home with some bad calls late. UNC 83-74.

@kjayhawks

Davidson is a fun offensive team as always and have 2 legit 20+ point scorers on the team. Gibbs got 30 last night against UNC, he can get 30 against us too. They will test our defense. They play optional defense so it should be a high scoring game. I think UNC has cooled off a bit and this is always a big game for Davidson every year, they usually play them tough.

@kjayhawks the key will be thinking ahead on defense and fouling him every other time down the floor.

@kjayhawks agree, the Freshman Fisher has a decent shot -BUT for the most part looked out of control a lot of the time -- forcing things, trying to drive when the drive wasn't there. They had NO ANSWER for the Duke transfer playing for SMU last night. Decent club and I DO like Jamie Dixon, just going to take a little time yet. - -ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY

Interesting. HEM's favorite prospect Karviar Shepherd turned out to be a role players at best; I wonder how he would have fared at KU...

@JayHawkFanToo transfer

@Crimsonorblue22

You are probably right...unless the KU staff was able to develop him into the type of player he was projected to be.

I wouldn't mind Shep on the roster right now. That's with the caveat that everything else remained equal.

@BShark

A role player at TCU would not get much PT at KU. As a senior, he should be THE man at TCU and he is not.

I'll take our coaches over TCU's last staff, plus not much talent around him. I feel he'd be an okay cog for KU.
