Look I know your great KU fans. Attend games when you can. Watch games over family functions. I get it, but you don't get it.

Us KU fans are a spoiled bunch. We've had so much respect that we think that a close game is a loss. Really?

So What KU didn't play a great game against Kstate. It doesn't matter. All that matters is a w in the win column. Think anybody will remember this if KU wins the conference again. NO.

Sure I get look for flaws. Predict loses. Yet remember this. When a team plays KU it is the biggest game on their schedule. Lets not forget everybody is aiming at KU this year. This is the magical year. This is the year that if KU wins the conference again. It will go down has one of the greatest feats in college basketball history.

So I say man up KU fans. It wouldn't surprise me if every game is close. This is the year of folk lore. This is the season that you tell your grand children about. This is the season you tell your great grand children about.

This history. in the making. It doesn't have to look pretty. Just win baby. Enjoy the ride as KU takes on all comers.

Just a couple hundreds I won on fantasy football.

I am very happy we won. But I am concerned about the defense.

Just because America is a wonderful country does not mean we don't have significant flaws that need to be addressed and corrected. And that's the same for this team.

Winning masks everything, until it doesn't.

Also--we are never going to hear the end of "Walk Chalk, Jayhawk" What a terrible way to end that game. I do not know how the ref can miss a guy taking FOUR steps and be right next to him when he does it.

The new coaches Dixon and Beard have left their calling cards. I've led the jokes about Weber, but his dismissal of Foster and grooming Wade and others have put him back in the tournament. Like Self, it's his way or the highway. We all thought that OU, OSU, ISU and the loss of Williams at WVU would make this a cakewalk. We gloss over Ben McLemore's banked three and other miracles over these last 12 years. We don't have time to be snob's this year. ROCK CHALK!

@nuleafjhawk I watched that live postgame with Weber. He was classless, but he also had a right to be upset. For a little justice, Josh should not have been t'd up for asking why that wasn't a foul and then the Kstater who slapped the ball into the front row under the baseline should have been t'd up.

I think JJ is getting a bit of a reputation among the college officials who don't like a freshman complaining about a no call. That likely would not be a T in the NBA, but Josh has to realize that some of the college refs don't like OADs and won't hesitate to hit him with a T.

That T completely changed the momentum of the game, and it took Josh out of his game. If I'm Self, I show Josh how that T changed the game. He's a competitive kid, but he's also a very intelligent kid, so I think he can make the adjustment quickly after these last two games.

@justanotherfan if i could like this a 100 times I would. That ended up being a 5 point trip that put them back into, was very very costly to put it nicely.

@justanotherfan No doubt. He has 3 T's this year. A case where is reputation precedes him and the refs are making an example of him.

@Blown once he sees film, he will know that changed the game from a 10 pt plus win to a possible overtime one.

@Crimsonorblue22 Don't you think that he should have learned that lesson after the TCU game? He has a temper that he cannot keep in check right now and short of coach punishing him....and the catch 22 to that is Self taming his aggressiveness, which he does not want either.

I wondered if that was supposed to be a switch last night, but I can understand Jackson's thinking.

He wanted Iwundu and he's our best defender, so I can't say that I didn't want him on Iwundu. However, you have to stay within scheme there, so if the scheme is switch everything, you switch, no question.

He will probably struggle against the likes of Baylor but he has saved us two straight games so much for Lucas.

You did watch those Puke videos that were posted? If refs can miss all that they can miss a step once in awhile. Remember we were on the losing end of the exact same thing at WVU a couple years ago.

Unless JJ made some disparaging remark about the ref's mother I didn't see anything that I haven't seen hundreds of times when a foul isn't called that warranted a T. And as erratic as the refs were in calling fouls last night, JJ's reaction could be understandable. I'm sure it didn't take HCBS or anybody else to point out the point swing that T made. JJ is a very bb savvy kid. And remember that. He's just a kid.

Yes, we won, thank goodness. But this reeked of a 2nd round NCAA tournament loss. Our players should be crying angrily in introspection. Better now than in March. Instead, we appear to be happy and celebratory. No wonder Bill Self had such strong words after the game.

First anybody that thinks that Bruce is a class guy needs their head examined. The dude is a douche. His greatest accomplishment was using another coaches players. Also the dweeb never gives credit where credit is due. I don't know how many times I've heard this numnut give a post game interview without giving any respect to the foe. If Kstate wins it's because of the great job he doing with his kids. If they lose it's because of the players or they got a bad shake from the refs. Seriously? Finally every time he opens his mouth I just want to rip out my eyes.

I get that KU's defense is subpar at best, but geez some of you are acting like the season is over. How many times has Coach made his teams one of the best defense teams in the country ??? Yet somehow he can't do it with this bunch? Whatever happened to trust in Self? God I don't know how many Jaybate posts I've read about seeing between the lines when it comes to what Coach says in interviews. Like their is some cryptic message or something. Where is that talk now? I mean are we to believe that Coach isn't going to make some changes?

Geez wake up. KU is ranked 3rd in the nation, and 2 and 0 in Big 12 play. WV already has a loss and Baylor is ripe for the picking.
