@kjayhawks No it's not, KU has done this ever since Doke went down. Go on a mini spurt to build a 10-12 point lead, rest a little on defense for 3-4 possessions, build the lead up again, rinse and repeat.

This is how Self has been resting his guys without actually subbing them out ever since Doke got hurt.

Wish we wouldn't have let them back in. Fast paced half tho. Did Frank get hit below the belt? He was bent over twice big time. Hope that he shakes off whatever it was.

OSU is on fire lately, gelled into a quality team. They will be a very tough out in the tournament. Evans is an elite guard and has shooters around him. I mean ba gawd the range on some of the threes Forte hit.

@wissox Landen is the MVP. Take anyone else off this team (including Mason or Jackson) and KU is still Big 12 champs. Take Landen off and this team finishes the regular season with 10+ losses guaranteed.

I'm so glad we recovered from our playbook getting decimated when all the starters left in 2012 and we were in OAD mode. Back to beautiful team ball.

Only negative I can think of is Svi was invisible again....and being invisible were his better moments.

Just looking at some of the stats, killed them on the glass +12, fg % defense wasn't terrible at 42% but goodness did they shoot the heck outta the ball, 71 shots and 36 3s (61 for us with 21 3s). We shot great at 56% from the floor and 43% from 3.

@KUSTEVE As does every team lol. Honestly I want to win it. But I'd rather lose first time out than lose after that so we get rest. I've always thought the lower conference teams that are playing their tournaments now have a huge advantage with basically 2 weeks of rest. It is better for the B12 now that they moved the title game to Saturday instead of Sunday like it was for years.

@dylans Even if KU lost to TCU/OU, they're gonna be the 1 seed in the Midwest in Tulsa and KC.

Class as always bye Self but goodness coach Sutton doesn't look good. I'll always remember him running down the sideline to shake Collison and Hinrichs hand on senior night at AFH. Man we had some battles in the late 90s and early 00s with him. Always respected him as one of my favorite non KU coaches. Best of luck to him.

@Crimsonorblue22 Mostly early 2nd round so there's a realistic chance he comes back next year. If he's back, he's B12 preseason POY.

The Big 12 tournament bracket for 2017 has taken its official shape.

The tournament will be played in Kansas City, and the Jayhawks -- which won the league by an outrageous four games -- will await the winner of TCU vs. Oklahoma.

The tournament gets underway on Wednesday. The title game will be played Saturday night. West Virginia is the 2 seed, Baylor is the 3.
Over the past 21 years, Kansas has earned a top-two seed in the league’s tournament 17 times. Kansas’ Bill Self has coached his program to the top of the conference standings 13 straight years, a feat accomplished by no other coach in men’s Division I basketball history.

Kansas won the tournament last year, and also in 2013. The two years in between, Iowa State won. West Virginia only joined the league four seasons ago.

Baylor has never won the conference playoff title.

@brooksmd I honestly didn't think the first game was all that great, had 2 lead changes in the second half. This game is better but our duke, WVU and UK games were better IMO.

I'm not convinced Bruce Weber coached teams like winning.

His play of late has bumped him into the first round of a lot of mocks.

Evans rightfully would be the pre-season favourite, but I think Newman will contend for that award next year.
