Just read this article on espn http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/21003738/trae-young-wants-oklahoma-sooners-hometown-hero ↗
I don't think he's being cocky of anything and wish the kid well just an interesting read.
Let's see if OU can even finish in the top half of the league. LOL
WVU lost a player due to grades. First semester only for now...
OU will probably cause some teams some problems this year. I'm more worried about them next year, if they stay healthy and keep adding more talent than subtracting.
Buddy Hields final four team couldnt do it. Not to sound arrogant, but its going to take a whole lot to go right for OU to end it.
Well, I'm glad the kid has goals. But he is NOT Buddy Hield. Buddy wasn't all that great until his Junior Senior years. Even that team as stack as it was couldn't knock KU off the top. And, sorry people, what makes this kid think that God gives one tiny little rats ass about OU beating KU? Its so miniscule, so insignificant, its almost pathetic. Just to be clear, I'm not judging religious faith here. Everyone has a right to believe, or not, as they chose.
I am not sure who is more delusional, Trae thinking that the rebuilding Sooners can win the conference or Myron Medcalf saying that OU is the sleeper team, which will likely finish in the bottom half. You can say that Trae has youthful exuberance and naïveté...but Myron?
@JayHawkFanToo naivety has no age
Maybe he should rewatch his HS game last year where he lost to Garrett. :grinning:
