Baylor took a step back this year, but they aren't a bad team. Of their six losses, five are to ranked teams and their only questionable loss is the ISU loss, and even that was at Hilton. Not sure what to make of this Baylor squad. They lack the perimeter scoring that would probably have pushed them past a couple of those ranked teams. They are a dangerous team, but not good. Could make some noise in the NIT, but not an NCAA tournament team.

ESPN has it as being out indefinitely but not much time left until March Madness so yes, likely out for the season. We will see how the team does playing ISU at home.

Texas has the rivalry thing going but I doubt it can beat TTU.

Another zone team where Vick will have to decide to turn around and shoot a short jumper from the free throw line or pass. Forget about Washington and ASU. I think we will have a parade for the "Mitch-Slapper" after this one.

Svi is very active and has the dunk and a couple of 3s, but he missed another dunk and three lay-ups. If he really learns how to finish, he could turn out to be a decent player... ;)

I will be surprised if Cunliffe gets into this game, unless it is out of hand late.

Garrett definitely needs to work on his shot. Just a complete non-shooter at this point. If he can improve it like Releford did though, to just be able to can open looks, it would do wonders for him. He is already so good at the little things.

That one lay-up was ridiculously wide open too. I couldn't believe he missed it.

@BShark yea I can see that. But couldn't teams use guys with fouls to give on him? And Self can pull him, but we don't play near as good without him. Hopefully it won't come to that tho

@StLJhawk I hope we don't see it either but until the rules are changed it is a viable strategy. If it does happen in a game the one big benefit is it gets you to the bonus very quickly, so it helps our other players as well if they get fouled. We've been a lot better about playing aggressively to get fouled since halftime against TTU.

I would think Self, Roberts, or Townsend would work with his technique. Hell, put him on the FT line for 50 or 100 attempts to get his FTs into some kind of consistency.

Doke was fouled on that miss. :/

BU played WVU similarly in Motown too. BU seems to be fairly good on the road, without wins. I don't want to under estimate their play.

Lot's of fans probably don't know about the electronic sign Beware of the Phog. I remember when it was taped to the glass.

When did the Pay Heed banner become electronic? It was still that vinyl banner that replaced the original banner when I was there last summer.
