A lot of new pieces learning how to play together, not really surprising the chemistry isn't there yet. The defense will be better by the time the Nova game rolls around and they won't hang a 100 on KU.

Gant is a 27% career 3 point shooter and Miller who started hot was 15-56 last year. Yes giving up open looks is bad but Miller eventually cooled off. Just contest him at all and the game could be a lot different. Loads of room for improvement on defense for this KU team. Looks like a pick up game.

There's a ton more content on there now though so I don't mind paying for it. MLS, NHL, and MLB games I wouldn't have otherwise gotten to see I've been able to see now.

It was 2005-06 and KU flamed out in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

I know this because we had a Gameday game against Texas in Austin and Texas blew them away by 25.

Vick had 7 of our 8 3s. Q had the only other 3 tonight. Ku was 8/22 from 3, 36%.

If anyone told me before season that Vick was gonna have 32 and 33 in back to back games id be thrilled and assume he'd have a huge season.

Vick 7-12 from 3, the rest of the team 1-10. Vick also had 9 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals...excellent game for him and be career high of 33 after his previous career high of 32 agains Vermont.

If Doke and Vick had made it to the pros, this would be a really really raw team.

The huge part for Dedric is playing within the offense and not forcing things.

Seeing those statues at the post game desk, I'd really love to see KU change their logo to a modernized version of the Warhawk logo. Logos should be mean looking and ours is anything but mean looking.

I worked for Sandy Inc, an advertising display company in KC, during school vacations in the late 70's thru 1981, but unfortunately he had sold it by then so I never met him. I remember the first day I worked there I found out why the Jayhawk copyright had his name, not KU like today, after the circled c. Keep it, I say!

Dedric Lawson was super reflective and honest in his post-game session. Talked about adjusting to new teammates and not being the focal point of the offense. Can tell he's trying to make it work. Just an adjustment right now. #kubball

Dedric was 6-11, 7-10 from the FT and 0-1from 3 with 6 rebounds and 3 assists; perhaps not what we expected but not too bad either.

I was at the local football game so I didn't get to watch. Sounds like it was ugly except for Vick a again...

Now I understand the flagrant foul for hooking in the paint. I first saw it called in another game and didn't see anything, just two players side by side waiting for a rebound. But, the replay shows Mitch with his arm entwined with the Cagin player. Clearly, wrapping the other player's upper arm is an effort to limit his ability to rebound. Hooking will be cleaned up in a couple of weeks. As a TV viewer, it's very hard to see unless you know what to look for.
