Anyway, watching the game is a nice excuse for not shoveling snow. Got half a foot overnight here in the Puget Sound area. Between the icy streets and all the hills, the city's pretty much at a standstill. Second big snow in a week...very rare for here.

Quite possibly. Given his situation I don't think this is too much in play. He still wants to play pro ball and taking a full year off would really hurt that. There is no way he is NBA draftable right now, will be interesting to see what happens.

someone posted a youtube video of Grimes senior year highlights. Looked like mini-Zion a totally different player than we're seeing.

Yep. Even when guys would catch a pass from Vick they would often have to move to do so, losing the benefit of their positioning. Passing has been really nice today.

ISU cut the lead to 7 at half. Probably just close enough for them to warm up from 3 and win. I was hoping for a bigger halftime lead for TCU when they were up 14.

-- The flow of the game is interesting to me lately. Teams really make Dedric struggle to find a shot in the first half, then he finds his game after the break.

-- When Charlie's in, i wish we could find him regular spots on the floor to shoot from. Always seems to be hurling up 3s at the wrong time, place and distance.

-- KJ continues to be a hot mess. Oops, my bad. this is supposed to be a happy, positive thread since we won. ignore.

-- That McGriff is a beast. wouldn't mind having him on our team to add some thuggy muscle.

-- Big Dave. Despite repeated calls for him to play more, i'm starting to wonder if that's the right thing. At least starting may not be his thing. Good energy off the bench. Maybe he can bring the hammer down on opposing players who are off to a hot start. He's got the elbows for it. Charles Oakley style.

-- Ochai seems to be the most vocal player we have. New team leader? Own it.

Got us a win and always nice to be back at the Fieldhouse. I thought it was a good team win, we struggled to grab rebounds and make shots in the first. The Fieldhouse was quiet as a Monday morning church during the first aswell. Really don't have much to complain about, Moore and KJ were not effective but I was pleased with the other guys. Grimes seemed to be more engaged and big David got some minutes.

McCormack is showing why he isn't ready to play big minutes yet. He's still totally lost out there. 4 offensive boards and 0 points today and still fairly lost on defense. It would be great to get him going, but he hasn't shown anything this season that the light is coming on for him, at least with Grimes, there's flickers every once in a while.

@Texas-Hawk-10 Very true, but that's why him getting 10-15 minutes as he did today is important for his development IMO. He had a couple of easy dunks but fumbled them away. He decent on defense. KJs defense late first half was about as pathetic as I've ever seen.

I think they always play the one he posted, but then different hype ones right before jump ball. Short ones. The one I saw at nova game was come together, beatles one, but that was after the regular one. I can't remember if that was the same hype one at Texas game, or isu game. @kjayhawks I don't think they're that much different. They have to update them. I loved the dream on one, from a long time ago. I love the hype ones during the game to get the crowd going. I think we have a very creative video Dept.
