I really enjoyed KJ's improved game. Garrett was good, then he wasn't. Garrett looked lost in the first few minutes of the second half. But, this team typically follows a good game with a stinker, so Auburn is going to be difficult. And, Auburn had a close first round game, which I think motivates them to play harder against us. Look out.

Really good time for the game Saturday. I have a busy day and want to watch live instead of on the DVR while avoiding texts/radio stations that give scores. Perfect!

I hope we are a dog in this and the media continues to say we can't win. Worked so well for them yesterday

@BeddieKU23 I've always thought we play better in the second game of the weekend against a known opponent in a power 5 team and as underdogs. We run into trouble more often playing mid majors that we are supposed to beat like a drum.

It's definitely one of those moments where we need Bill to pull a rabbit out of the hat. My hope is that we force Harper to beat us, and do it driving the ball. I really think you need to try to deny Brown the ball and just force someone else to beat you.

It seems like that's key to beating Auburn. Basically keeping Brown from even taking shots unless they are forced. Every team that beat them either didn't let him beat them from the 3, or made him shoot a lot of tough ones. I think Garrett and Ochai should be able to pester him enough.

Yeah this is a game you start Garrett imo for his ability to know the scouting report and tendencies of players.

I've seen some Auburn fans post that they tend to be cold shooting the 3 in the first half and light it up in the 2nd. They showed that against NM St when they just would go over a screen and jack it up. Their bench guard played out of their minds.

Harper is every bit as fast as Dotson.

Okeke is the tough matchup for Dedric when he's aggressive and making perimeter shots.

Can't turn the ball over. Have to make shots!

If we can defend them like we did Northeastern we'd be okay. But yeah I'm more worried about not being able to score enough in this one more then anything.

Auburn is saying we won't know what to do with Okeke.

@wissox He'll be guarded by Lawson so he'll probably have a good offensive game, but he'll also have to guard Lawson on the other end which won't be easy for him. Mitch would probably be able to do a decent job defensively on him.

I would start Marcus Garrett for this game and put him on Bryce Brown.
