Sounds about right for Dotson. There's a bunch of 6-2 or 6-3 PG's in the NBA that are much better 3 point shooters than he is. His A/TO isn't elite either. He's right about where he should be.

Doke can still boost his stock quite a bit if he stays healthy to late 1st or early 2nd round status.

Dotson is only 31% from 3 this year. He has the potential to be a good shooter, but there's just something that hasn't clicked for him yet. If he was a 40% or better shooter, he'd be a lottery pick.

Tristan has value because he is a shooter and can space the floor for Dotson, Agabji, and Garrett to drive and that's something that Dave and Silvio don't offer yet. The trade off though is Tristan is still a subpar defender and still figuring it out offensively.

1. Refs, collectively, are the worst. Not only because they make calls they think they see, but they always think they’re right.

5. Anyone hear the slam of Moss by Fran? Something to the effect of “He shoots the three but doesn’t do much else.” Tried to walk it back a bit. Fran bores me.

6. What has happened to DeSousa? This is pretty shocking.

7. Udoka is now shooting 35.3% from the free throw line. Never seen anything like this.

8. When others hit 3s, it truly makes Garrett better. When others don’t, I get distracted by his lack of shooting. In an anomaly, we were up 12 at half on a good team and we had made zero 3s. But we got it going.

9. This team is sneaky good. Agbaji’s trajectory is the real key, I think. Is anyone better than us? I don’t think so.

Doke will struggle all season at the line, I believe, and Self will have to take him out at the end of close games. Dayton OT notwithstanding.
Fran over stated his opinion on Moss, but he did have a point.
Agree on Agbaji……...he is key for us.
Right now I would say Ohio State and Louisville are further along than us.....but I like our chances to improve more than they do.
Was the poor 3 point shooting by Dayton and CU the result of good defense or an off night? That still worries me.

What did Fran say? “Average passer, average ball handler, great shooter and that’s what this team needs.” Or something along those lines. Fran just tries to undercut KU during the broadcasts. I like it when things go like last night and granny franny has to watch KU kick some butt. Quiets him down a bit.
