I agree with you for sure , and thought the same when I saw his profile and look like it said about how good looking he was. - - I think he has always had it in for KU I really have no use for the guy.

Maybe that is what we need. If Doke is going to continue to dominate like he did in Waco... who cares? Being pushed is probably good for him. He's been talking about being pushed his whole life so maybe it is what he fuels on.

@drgnslayr Did you hear Doke's post game? Sure sounded like he had a nice big chip on his shoulder. Talking about all the doubters and people saying he couldn't do it etc. My partner when she heard asked, "who has been telling this poor guy he can't do it?" Seems like he's manufactured a chip for himself and this team! Now all we have to do is keep it even though we are ranked #1.

@benshawks08 My guess is the draft evaluations are what he is referring to.

And would you be surprised if HCBS made a point of telling Doke not to pay attention to those?

Ya well I was getting concerned about Oachi production -- he simply sit me down and said just watch - -I said good enough for me - - I'll be quiet now lol- - Thanks Oachi , nothing to see here - - were good.

@jayballer73 He did have a good game, no doubt. But I'm with you on his tendancy to disappear for long - even for several games - stretches.

I think Och needs to come back to school next season. With Wilson and Enaruna, Braun (able to play 3 and in a pinch even four spots) and Ochai, Mitch and Dave frontcourt; then Garrett and Harris at pg and Thompson destroying from outside.

Unless he blows up in March I would say it's a high probably Ochai will be back. His stock has slipped to bottom of 2nd round and all the weaknesses we see in his game are certainly the same concerns scouts have as well. With Dotson & Doke gone he'll have the opportunity to push himself for a feature role on this team next year and that's a prime showcase/stock boosting type move to make. I also think Ochai could be here all 4 years, local KC kid and Self & Him have a great relationship. He doesn't strike me as the type that would leave early unless his draft position left him no choice. I think its going to take the next 2 years to develop the ball handling/passing/scoring/feel for the game that is still not consistent with him.

Unless Ochai does something special next season I have a hard time not seeing him as a four year player.
