Friend's dad is having his aortic valve replaced a week from tomorrow. Has to happen and can't be delayed. Even under normal circumstances this would be scary.

My Dad had this done about 5 years ago. He said it hurt like hell but he does everything he did before and has no restrictions on his life.

My mom had a pig valve replacement about 15 yrs ago in wichita. She’s 86, it’s still working.

They are keeping infected patients away from other patients, if u r worried about that.
