sure
Yikes Marcus
Okie Lite was checks notes 244th in the country in 3pt% coming in.

6/9 from 3 is okay
By the time they cool off it will be too late because Self is autobenching Ochai due to fouls.
This is a ROUGH line up for KU...
Okie Lite is on an absolute heater from three. Mostly wide open looks will do that for you.
This will be a well deserved loss
9-0 Okie run
Take Tyon out and never put him back in.
The biggest issue with this KU team might be passing.
Good lord Cade
MITCH
Tristan first off the bench..
Imagine leaving Cade open
@BeddieKU23 Our problem is this team is a bit slow, and very bothered by length.
And then...w/e the hell that was on offense
DEFENSE
@BeddieKU23 said in Okie Lite Game Thread:
Good start. Oklahoma St doesn't defend
Their defense is supposedly good according to advance stats lol. Their offense is ranked lower but is starting out hot.
@BeddieKU23 said in Okie Lite Game Thread:
Our pick and roll defense is what id call crap
Well, Dave is in so yeah.
CB grinds
Ochai heater
Cade is really good though, like sheeeesh.
lol
Ochai bang
Nauseating camera angle...
Cade will go off tonight I bet, especially after a weak effort last game...
So uh, Michigan seems good.
Regular starters, Bryce is good to go.
@BeddieKU23 Does espn allow simul log-ins? I know account sharing was huge in the early days of things like Netflix but companies started to crack down.

Coach K feeling some back pain no doubt. As of my linking this, 27-12 Virginia Tech is ahead.
We good.
While schools are openly poaching maybe we should take a look at Isiaih Mosley. Friend of Harris and CB that is averaging 24 ppg at MO State. I kid...kind of.
Names to keep an eye on in 2022: Rylan Griffen (Snacks), Isaac Traudt, Braeden Moore (Snacks)
Mouhamed Gueye is a very intriguing prospect but it looks like he is UCLA's to lose.
Not sure KU will be in a position to win the bidding war for the Thompson brothers. KT is on them, which also hurts my confidence.
Going to quote Bossi on this one: "Jai Smith says a lot of things to a lot of people."
OMG :face_with_tears_of_joy:
@BeddieKU23 Yeah, total beast. Hopefully he skips college, would suck if he ended up at UK.
Zach with 8/5 against Monteverde which like Sunrise is basically a college team. He had to go up against Jalen Duren, who is a guy that probably never sees a college court. He doesn't get as many shots as he will get under Self I would bet.
Re Dave: With the last two games, he has finally raised his BPM above 0. Hopefully a trend that continues.
The turnovers were rough today, especially Jalen. Jalen also played tough, hit a couple big shots. He will continue to develop and be just fine. The biggest problem as I see it right now is a lack of good ball handling guards. We have a LOT of wings. If guys come back and the staff adds a ball handler next year's team could be very good. This year, I'd be happy with a S16.
@Crimsonorblue22 said in Boomer Thread:
Tristans man getting the back door balls?
Yes. Tristan has mental lapses on D, his biggest issue by far.
@tundrahok said in Boomer Thread:
Our starting guards had 31 of our 35 rebounds. They play big. Pretty cool.
I count Jalen as a big. At a minimum he is a 4 guy imo.
Hard to get rebounds when the REBOUND VORTEX Jalen Wilson grabs them all tbh.
@jayballer67 Yeah him reclassing would be ideal. He is very fast and jumps out of the gym. Exactly what we need, someone that can get by his man and create.
Honestly we are seeing a big trickle down here not having Bryce. He might not be great on offense yet but he is the difference between having to play Tyon or not...
@DCHawker said in Boomer Thread:
Well, it's a win, but a lot more difficult that it should have been at home with OU very short-handed....
I am blaming Marcus. Well, and not having guards in general so that Marcus has to play out of position. It's going to matter some nights but not others. Need a guard for next year badly.
