I came away from that game thinking KSU was pretty bad too, a good team blows UT out at home. We will see though.

Interesting post on the Phog about this. Poster said he had been complaining non-stop since he got on campus.

He was a walk-on level player honestly. It's possible that he may just be done with basketball.

Barely. 13 (Giles) and 3 (Bolden) minutes. Such a killer with Bolden, because he'd be getting pt at KU. :(

Graham has been pretty bad lately.

Agree about the defense, it's an issue. Honestly it's an issue for almost everybody now. Players are worried about ticky tack foul calls and the fact that KU doesn't have a lot of eligible players exacerbates it.

I'm not saying he was mushed in order to make room for Copeland but if we see Copeland and Cunliffe pop for KU the math checks out.

We found out which players Self really trusts (just 7 of em it turns out).

He was never going to play sooooooo yeah. Honestly I was baffled when he transferred in, figured Self was desperate for bodies. This does mean Self will need to take a post flier/practice player in this class.

I'm not trying to demean the kid or anything, it is what it is and I hope he finds success/pt at another school.

Give me a Kennard type player every day of the week. Tatum's game is cancerous from what I've seen of him (he is very skilled though).

I mentioned it in the other thread but as of now TCU is a tournament level team and one of the higher ranked teams we have played so far (and a true road game unlike the previous two against IND and Duke).

Edit: TCU is not DUKE/IND level, to be clear, but they are ranked considerably higher than anyone else on the schedule to date.

WOW!

Upon further review (and getting past the fact that TCU is on the front of their jersey) I don't think it was too terrible. Now sure there are things to improve upon but... Did better than Vegas and Kenpom predicted. TCU as of now IS a tournament level team going by RPI and Kenpom ratings. All this with Josh as a non-factor and Graham was practically mia as well.
