Josh seems good at getting to the rim
Missing wide open threes tonight
Oh and these announcers haha. Of course Vick and Svi are playing big minutes. Josh has fouls and the bench is not deep

@BShark Self said Udoka can, but why aren't we getting him the ball on the block?
We need to, but it was a lotta ugly last game if he wasn't in close. I'm confident he'll learn, too athletic not to, but I'm concerned he doesn't have anyone to really show him. Will have to be tape of some ex players.
It'sgoing to be pretty fun to watch Doke develop.
@Bwag said:
@BShark you nailed that.
Lucas isn't gonna get it
Azibuike will get it but is raw and the factor is learning timeline-this year or next, I'm pulling for his quick study
Bragg is the X-factor. We know he's got mid range. Is he gonna become an inside player when a strong inside game is needed.
Yepppp. The bright side is as mentioned KU has a nice stretch of games leading up to OU to help figure stuff out while presumably winning most if not all of them.
@BeddieKU23 said:
Bragg can at least finish inside which we know Lucas is falling apart trying to do. Bragg showing why scouts love him
Yeah I have lots of hope for Bragg. People thinking he won't be gone I think are in for a rude awakening. I think Preston committed because he knows he will start.

Doke is raw. He scored a few times against Duke but I don't think it will be very sustainable this year. Obviously he can dunk so there is that.
@BeddieKU23 said:
I'm tired of Josh being punished for how good he is. This type of stuff won't happen at the next level for him.
It's ridiculous.
@BeddieKU23 said:
its a 10 point game but the refs ruined a lot of momemtum.
josh had multiple plays taken away, Mason as well.
Defense was good for good stretches after that initial shootout.
Yeah I'm not too worried yet. This is a nice easy stretch to help the team coalesce.
@Bwag said:
@BShark if that's the excuse, then I'm concerned about March already.
I don't see us resting Graham and more so Mason much.
We've got to see our inside game pick up some slack.
The problem with that is Lucas and Doke can't create on their own and Bragg is a bit of a perimeter post player.
@BeddieKU23 said:
its a big concern but they are good looks and the guards have played a lot of minutes/tired legs this past week
This.
@Bwag said:
1/7 for 16% from 3pt land.
It's becoming a thing.
Yeah, if it persists after KU gets back to a normal travel schedule I will worry.
@BeddieKU23 said:
Vick jumps 29 feet in the air and it looks so effortless
He has NBA athleticism.
@BeddieKU23 said:
seina has had at least a half dozen illegal screens in this half
Must no longer be a point of emphasis. We need to get Jamari to talk to these refs.
THAT'S MITCH LIGHTFOOT'S MUSIC

Saw this with EJ and TT.
If LL is the go-t0 in the tourney this year we exit in round 2.
Not a chance....I hope
@BeddieKU23 said:
what the point of throwing the ball into lucas. its sad
Bill is trolling us I hope
damn it LAnden
@Bwag said:
3-pt shooting is officially a problem.
Shooting 25% so far tonight.
1/4 though so can improve yet
Really thought the last miss from Svi was going in
OH REFS
@BeddieKU23 said:
theese refs hate josh
I'm starting to worry about a self-fulfilling prophecy where refs think Josh fouls a lot so they call crap fouls.
LOL LANDEN
......
SHOT CLOCK VIOLATION

Lucas playing much better tonight, those few minutes with Doke in went freshman like
Helps to be playing Siena's front line
@HawkChamp said:
I like how the guys are looking to push the ball at every opportunity.
Exp of the guards really helps this too
Good poss on d there
@BeddieKU23 said:
yeah these guys acting like this a scrimmage on defense. Self will let them know now. I bet the game slows down a bit at some point this half
Exactly
@Bwag said:
12- 12.
Are we gonna stop them?
At some point the team will be interested in defense. Might take a bit like the Duke game.

1st bad call of the night. JJ seems to be a magnet for bad officials
Wow, Frank!
Yeah that was SUCH a damn flop.
FRANK HIGH FLYIN
LOL THAT CALL
Getting whatever we want at the rim but defensive issues.
This is a Lucas kind of game athletically.
Carlton buckets Bragg
Free throws for Josh are such a problem.
Honor will lead us in scoring tonight.
Oh Jesse...
Under strengths for Siena
▪ Rim protection: Led by 6-foot-10 center Javion Ogunyemi, Siena is a good shot-blocking team, ranking 69th in block percentage this year after finishing 58th in the stat last season.
Under Weaknesses
▪ Allowing close shots: Through two games, 46 percent of opponents’ shots against Siena have come at the rim, a number that ranks 324th nationally.
Ah okay. Haven't turned anything on yet.

I like Matt Tait. I think he's a genuinely good dude. Tom ruined the LJW. The boards drove that joint, and he didn't like it. It was a GD community, and they won awards.
Lost me you have.
Just about time.

I'll feel better about Preston next November when he plays in a meaningful game for KU.
KU being able to guide him along is big I think.

@BShark understand now I know seeing aas how that he is all but a wrap to Kentucky -- BUT they are on Matt Coleman big time - - and have been for quite some time ROCK CHALK ALL DAY LONG BABY
Just relaying what I read from Duke insiders on their 247 board. KU is definitely in it for Duval though, and could beat Duke head to head. If KU lands Young, they will be out of the picture for Duval.
Agree. Probably makes them fairly irrelevant this season.
