Not the most trustworthy, Tyler had already transferred 3 times including going back to Memphis..

AJ Green in the portal from Northern Iowa. Iowa St fans have been fuming toxic ooze out their mouths for months waiting for this one. He'll have a line if he wants one. One of the best shooters in all of College Ball.
Iowa St, Nova & UVA involved. Could be an ISU/Nova battle here. Iowa St feels confident due to family etc.
That large human that played at Illinois declared for the draft
I know some team will take him but Helicopter daddy Tre Mitchell in the portal...

I know its just hilarious. Kids on his 3rd school releasing a Top 7, now Top 5.
Yeah. His mom tweeted that he hadn't decided yet then deleted it. It's over lol.
Perhaps these mom's should stay off the social media..

Kendric Davis cut his list to 5. It was 7. This stuff is too funny.
KU, Tech, TCU, Houston & Fedex $
Interesting. Good stuff.
Still not a fan of it but it is what it is.
Jalen Bridges jumps from West Virginia to Baylor. Low bro

@BeddieKU23 - thanks for the link! K-Staten has 9 (!) in the portal? Wow.
They got Tang'd
Texas lands New Mexico St transfer guard Sir'Jabari Rice. He looked good in their tourney game.
Jaelin Llewellyn committed to Clemson a week ago and now reopening his transfer recruitment again. Can't make this shh up
I am still considering Clemson as my home for next year, but due to recent changes, my family and I have decided to reopen my recruitment in order to reconsider the best options."
He forgot Bag options there at the end lol
Damn. Now let's get his name in the rafters..
The top part lists all recent updates either entering the portal or a player selecting a new school. If you scroll down and search via name you'll find him or by old school. He's on that list. On3 is another resource as well although not as up to date as VC
Hope your right.
Izzo loses one in Juluis Marble who was a solid post rotation piece the last few years.

Here's where I go for the most up to date. Twitter as well. 247 has transfer portal page but wouldn't go there for anything groundbreaking

Devin Askew in the portal again from Texas
Maybe he will find a level more suited to his abilities. Perhaps the YMCA.
whiff by recruiting services, badly
Devin Askew in the portal again from Texas
Syracuse.. interesting
Yuri Collins who led the nation in assists is in the portal. Long line coming
Did they run the "what are the Krzyzewski's up to now" article yet? I'd imagine a book series and 30 for 30 show coming any month too.
Us winning the championship was so 2 weeks ago news. No biggy
Thx for the detail.
Agree he definitely plays hard and has plenty of talent that fits here. Just wondering how locked in he'll actually be after he gets the bag he wants. It's an interesting dynamic I'm watching with this NIL.

The news needs to stop being the murder, malign and fight hour.
This is why I stopped watching the news years ago (and I'm surprised more people are not turned off by the same cycle of depressing/propaganda.)
Congrats!
They taking it as well as KU fans took Bryce or Grimes leaving?
I do find this situation a bit odd. As you mentioned he stuck with ISU even after his coach was fired, had to establish a new relationship with TJ & then played under him and led them to the Sweet 16.
It was already social media rumor that Hunter was being courted by other programs without being in the portal officially. Now he's in and its high bidding time. Not sure that's someone I actually want from the portal. We all see he's a really good player that's going to get better but from an 8 foot view it certainly seems like he's chasing a bag more then chasing other things. Who knows.
Portal about to hit 1400 today.
We shall see. Any outcome is possible with the NCAA
Taken from the Phog.. This poster's father is connected to the Athletic Department. He's usually been solid on his info. Here's what he had to say..
-
So, my father isn’t as in tune with this as much as other aspects of the Athletic Department; but some general things: Self and the KUAD are now pushing for this to be over. This whole time, they were content to delay this until the end of time; but the tune has changed and Self is ready to ‘take some medicine’ to move past this. That may mean abdicating to some demands.
-
So, from what I understand, Self was willing to fight any violation and any punishment to the ends of the Earth. Now he’s willing to take a small hit so he can move forward. The extent of those violations and punishments is not entirely clear right now (because no deal has been made); but apparently Bill and KT are willing to take suspensions in the non-con. Apparently there may have been something to Vernon’s hearings that the NCAA wanted a post season ban (possibly for multiple years) for the coaches; but that is a no-go for Self. We are apparently willing to meet them on fines, and a small scholarship reduction. Apparently vacating wins or a F4 is out of the question. If they can make a deal on a palatable agreement, then this thing will be done soon. If the IARP doesn’t play ball, then it’s back to fighting them every inch again.
Dillon Hunter has decommitted from Baylor, dropped big time in the rankings over the last year.
4 star 7 foot Center Shawn Phillips has decommitted from NC St. Should be in high demand.
West Virginia lands Juco Center Jimmy Bell. Huggy loves himself a project. Listed 6'10 290.
Release a "Top 7" while only visiting one school. SMH.
Former UNC forward Dawson Garcia predictably goes to Minnesota
Former Oklahoma guard Elijah Harkless goes to UNLV, weird move.
VCU forward Hasan Ward transfers to Iowa St
Former TCU guard Francisco Farabello transfers to Creighton
Providence landed 3 transfers - Clifton Moore (Indiana, LaSalle), Devin Carter (South Carolina), & Noah Locke (Florida, Louisville).
5 star forward Malik Reneau, once Florida Gator commit will now go to Indiana

Man he's underperformed
I think you'll see action this week. The one's that want to go through the draft have until the 24th.
Absolutely they are not even hiding it
Minor updates to the IARP thing from Vernon LOL.
KU/IARP submitted "proposed joint agreement" on Feb 25th.
Self requested the NCAA enforcement staff produce documents to be reviewed by the IARP, also from early February.
Lots of transparency here, all from the transparency website the NCAA setup.
Have to feel for ISU here, legit tampering going on. Just how the game is going..
Having said that. Sup Tyrese!~
Did he cut it. I had already forgot he existed

@BeddieKU23 where's Bruce?
getting his play hard chart framed. Probably watching his resignation speech on loop
Yes both schools he's visiting upcoming saw coach changes after his list was released in Oct
Latest update on Layden Blocker.. Not promising for KU
One of the top performers from last weekend's Nike Eybl session one Layden Blocker has reportedly started to set up some official visits according to Hog Sports the 6-foot-2 point guard has set up visits to Arkansas June 6-8, Kansas State May 6-8, and Maryland May 13-15th.
K-St & Maryland were not apart of his Top 7 he released
KU recruiting 4 star Point Guard Trey Greene. The #67 ranked prospect had this to say
Virginia Tech, Cincinnati are recruiting me hard, and a little bit of Kansas, Tennessee, UCF, and USF. It's been a lot of reaching out and showing love the past couple weeks. In terms of who I saw at my games, Kansas, Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Cincinnati, and UCF were there watching, making sure I'm staying up to date with everything.”
Plans to announce in August
I agree Wichita wasn't fun to watch this year. Saw a few games & their current coach isn't the answer. Dennis brings plenty of experience to the table. Good athlete and defends. Certainly has some skills a coach like Self values. We have MJ Rice who's basically a younger/better version of Dennis imo. We certainly need to replace Och with a comparable body though so Dennis is an option, just not sold on him being the one.
We have an unbalanced roster right now. We should see plenty of roster movement this week & perhaps some portal action.
I can live with 1 year where a player's role is forced into this or that. We have 4 years of data on Dennis and he can't shoot consistently. Under 40% for 4 years is terrible imo.
The tape shows plus athleticism, defense (for which he was rewarded in the league), physically mature guard/wing. Tape shows he can make open perimeter shots with 176 made 3's in his career. Think he's a cut below KU level and the kind of impact player that will raise the ceiling
Bobi Klintmann landed at Colorado. Think he's going to be good there.
