And a blown out of bounds call against Arkansas. This is definitely the C crew

He's a stud, only a Jr too
Flop Warning on Colgate player after Arkansas player flopped to get a 3rd foul on Colgate's leading scorer. Ref's couldn't ref if they ever tried
Colgate's microwave working again, down 5 to up 4 in a hot minute
Gators within a bucket with 9 to go
Beard will have to adjust but their offense has been offensive so far
Quetta is such a skilled big, especially passing
Definition of a hot and cold microwave
Adds an airball
Matt just Clunged a wide open 3
Definitely depends on which version of McFlung Tech gets. The one that gets 20 or 5 determines the game
Wow, that was insane. Colgate completely implodded
Ref's will never actually know what a charge is
Colgate looks shook. Their leading scorer has done nothing for them as well
Colgate falling apart, need halftime bad
Colgate has some foul trouble. Cooling off a bit. Arkansas starting to ramp up pressure
This Ferguson kid shoots 51% from 3, 50 from the field. Video game
Hello Colgate up 14!
Transfer list at 650, might hit 7 hundy by end of weekend
Colgate still up 8 fun offensive team to watch
I had picked Va Tech but they only played 3 games in 40 days and they hadn't looked good either. Florida is not playing up to their talent level. We'll see how the 2nd goes
Florida really is that bad too I guess.
Colgate up 8 with 7:55 in the first half. They look legit
Liking this Colgate game so far. They came to play
Colgate only played 5 different teams this year. wow
Hinkle's gym really reminding me of Allen day games with the sun shining in..
Florida looks terribles
Self reports he can practice today as well..
CBS going for all the advertising money today. 2 timeouts within 3 seconds of actual play
They have to fire Bruce but I'm kind of happy they haven't. But seriously he's gotta go
Official DaJaun Gordon in the portal from K-St. Commence meltdown in, I'm sure its already happening in mancrappin
My thoughts exactly.
Marcus Carr of Minnesota hits the Portal. Guard Averaged near 20 ppg. Will be his 3rd school wherever he lands which I figure will be another P5 program
Oklahoma St is only a 7 pt favorite today with Vegas which I find really odd. They were under seeded and have one of the best players in the country and now play a 23 win Liberty team who's won 12 straight. Liberty shoots the 3 extremely well (39% as a team). They lost to Purdue by 13, TCU by 4 & Missouri by 9 with P5 wins over South Carolina & Miss St, two middling SEC teams. I think Liberty is getting a little too much respect here as they play in an extremely weak conference with 4 of their 23 wins coming against non-division 1 schools. Lancaster Bible College, Carver College,
Columbia International, Bluefield College. Yeah I think Vegas missed on this
Thx. Other Big-12 games
Hartford/Baylor 3:30 (EST)
Liberty/Oklahoma St 6:25 (EST)
Morehead St/West Virginia 9:50 (EST)
Update on Sydney Curry
After a slow start caused by an ankle injury Curry has scored in double figures in 8 straight games.
Over that span he's averaging 15 ppg, 8.6 reb pg, 2 ast pg, 2 to's pg, 1.5 blk's pg. Impressive to note is he's averaged 4 offensive boards in his last 8 games. FT % continues to be a problem, 49%. Shooting 67% from the field on the season though which I think will translate for what KU will ask him to do, dunk/score around the rim.
Early games, I didn't pick an upset although I think you could pick the higher seed in 3 of the 4.
Originally had Va Tech but they haven't played well post covid issues, they have only played 3 games since February 9th with the only win against helpless Wake Forest. Florida, watched several times and don't really understand how they got a #7 seed. Their players are just better then Va Tech, expect Tre Mann to have a big game. Florida is the pick.
Arkansas/Colgate should be high octane/high scoring. Colgate averages 86 ppg, only played 15 games on the season. Top 4 scorers are guards who shoot the 3 really well. They have size but its young. Line on this was only 8.5. I think Arkansas is a bit overrated but we'll see how this one goes. Arkansas is the pick in a tight game.
Illinois should win by 30, 22.5 favorites.
The first Big-12 game features Texas Tech. Utah St's Neemias Queta is one of the best bigs you've never heard of. Averages a double/double and is an absolute beast in the paint on both ends. Really a complete player, averages over 3 blocks and 2.5 assists a game. If he controls the game inside against Tech's limited frontcourt then this one could be really close. Ultimately I went with Tech, Beard's tourney success, strong defense and their guards are better then Utah St's. Utah St doesn't have Sam Merrill anymore and Tech has McFlung, who we know can shoot you in and out of games. Would be disappointed if Tech doesn't get a W for the Big-12. The Big-12 has a really good shot of going 4-0 on Day 1.
