From what I remember seeing him on TV and then watching videos seems like a more athletic Garrett, functional perimeter shot, better vision. Concerning were the fouls/turnovers and taking bad shots. His shooting splits are basically the same as Marcus. We'll see where it goes

Watched a podcast talking about Johnson's departure. It's not a good look when you leave before the season is over.
Capel apparently has been frustrated with him, Johnson did avg 3 fouls a game as their starting PG.. Seemed to have an issue staying on the court. Fouled out in 3 games, had 4 fouls in 5 other games.
Seems like this is a mutual thing. Tread carefully here but man he'd have a chance at a fresh start and a chance to really help a blue blood team.

He was awful, I will not defend how he played last night. For all the bad (Missed Dunk, missed Free Throw's, Turnovers, Dumb-Headed Fouls), Self still played through him in the 2nd half and Overtime. That was Bill's stubbornness shining. He had 2 of his 5 starters playing below par and yet the offense ran through them a majority of the game. It was a "how to lose the game" clinic

Microcosm of him, he has struggled against length his entire career at the basket. I think Texas got in his head on a lot of drives. Same with Dave, you could clearly tell he was pressing and making dumb plays. The fouls are what frustrate me the most. Getting your 2nd 3 minutes into the game, getting your 3rd within 2 minutes of the 2nd half. Those kind of mental mistakes are, well, Dave.
