We shall see they are likely to lose the 3 guards after the season. They do have an outstanding class coming in, Love and Brown are as good as advertised and the Polish kid is a stretch 4 type with high upside. Flagler will step in next yr and score a ton. They will hit the transfer market hard and find something that and likely will add more highly ranked HS talent. I think this yr is it as far as championship potential goes but they will be a force going forward due to how they are recruiting
Same, Griffen has been #1 on my G/W board for a while. However I think Gradey will be more prepared to play as a freshman due to where he plays HS.
Getting Gradey would pretty much put us out of the running for Griffen I would think. @BShark thoughts?

Baylor will play 3 games next week: Officially canceled were home games vs West Virginia & a road game @ Oklahoma.
Tuesday @ West Virginia, Thursday Home vs Oklahoma St, Sunday Home vs Texas Tech.
Oklahoma will play two games:
Monday @ Oklahoma ST, Home vs Texas on Thursday
Texas will play 3 games: Texas ends the season on the road for 4 straight games..

Question: What are the guidelines for getting the shot where everyone lives. Here in VT, it started with Health Care, essential health providers (which is how I was eligible as my fiance is a home care provider). After that it switched to age- 75 and up, currently 70 and up & switching to 65 & up starting Monday.
Curious to hear how other states are handling it?
Last week we were told at the facility that a ramp up of available doses was coming and that other groups such as people with underlying health conditions, essential workers etc would be the next phases.
As of yesterday about 17% of the eligible people in the state had received at least 1 dose. Our county showed slightly higher at 18%. Positive movement..
Yeah we are young'ish you could say, mid 30's. I rarely get sick/cold and both shots my body seemed to react accordingly. The nurse who did both of my shots recommended Tylenol (since I had to work the next day) after so I took 1 after receiving and 1 the next morning.
My Fiancé however starting reacting about 8 hours later, had about 24 hours of fever/body aches/sick feeling/headache. She had a tension headache for a week after as well. She tends to get sick easier then I do and colds etc seem to hit her harder then me so I wasn't surprised that her body reacted this way. We were both aware that the 2nd shot had a higher chance of this due to the body being triggered by the booster shot as @mayjay said.
Yeah, agree on that part. He does seem to be a guy that can just flat out score. Thinking Ballock comp

There was a recent interview done about Dave where coach Self said that he is a perfectionist at things which can cause some of his growing pains. Kid has gone through a huge body transformation from when he weighed over 300 pounds in High School. He has the drive to be good and that is something to applaud in him.
But I agree the things he did against Texas that were negative are maddening. I'm guilty as heck at reacting to that in the moment
I have been too hard on Dave on numerous occasions, but am glad that we have him. Imagine what our record wouldve been without him this season.
Yepp he has grown into an important piece and next year could be something special for him if he continues to improve
I got my 2nd last Monday. No ill effects from either. First one arm was sore the next day. However my fiance couldn't get out of bed for 24 hrs after the 2nd and she was in shambles for a few days.. her immune system has never been as good as mine.
I think if your immune system holds up well to seasonal colds etc you should be OK. I did take tylenol after and every 8 hours for the next day just to make sure no fever set in..

Normally he is and normally those players get rewarded for their play. Thompson didn't start the 2nd half or even come into the game until around the 12/13 minute mark of the 2nd half. He was one of the 5 best players on the court but wasn't rewarded for it.
In the first half when Dave picked up 2 fouls, Mitch came in and showed why he plays a limited back up role. When Self went with Wilson at the 5, KU's 4 guard + Wilson attack not only started scoring but really stymied Texas on defense. The 2nd half Dave picked up his 3rd foul within 2 minutes of the half starting and Texas adjusted their offense to attack the basket. Dave had really established himself as KU's best player the past month or so but against Texas he reverted right back to the same issues that have plagued him for 3 years here. That missed point blank dunk/failed tip in sequence. Ugh.

It was predictable though that Dave would play in the 2nd half/OT even if he wasn't helping much. We built the lead in the first half without him and then Texas adjusted and in turn KU lost all momentum by missing shots/bonehead turnovers and failing to contain dribble penetration on defense. There's 1/2 plays from Dave that stick out as game changing for why they lost.
The biggest surprise to me was seeing Thompson not get rewarded for his first half play. Self must not completely trust him yet against a team like Texas. He should have trusted him but he didn't. He went with his vet's and paid the price
