I'm happy there won't be a delay unless the Duke game goes extra since its a 9:30pm start where I am and I'll get roughly 4 hours sleep before having to be up for work. Hopefully staying up for the game is worth it
Pierce was the player I grew up watching, being from the Northeast getting the chance to see Celtics games on TV every day was great especially since KU games were harder to find not being from Kansas. I still have my Pierce KU Jersey from when I was a kid and it's hanging in the Man Cave. I thought Paul was the greatest thing since sliced bread at KU and in the Pro's. I thought he was snubbed in the draft but obviously his career ended up pretty good the way it played out. I wasn't a Celtics fan but man did I root for Pierce on the court and he'll forever be one of my favorite players. Nothing but fond memories from my side!
