3rd in points per game in Conference- 22nd national

2nd in shooting % in conference- 5th national

tied for 1st in 3pt %, really improved that # lately- 17th nationally

worst FT shooting team in the conference- believe there are only 11 teams worse in all of D-1. Yikes

3rd in the conference in rebounding- 61st nationally

2nd in assists per game conference- 16th nationally

Surprisingly 3rd in Blocks in conference- 34th nationally playing mostly 4 guard lineup..

KenPom has us 8th nationally in Adjusted Offense, 6th in Adjust Defense.

So far so good.

Mason up to 30th I believe!! It's hard with the list not being updated by KU athletics.

He's 52 points away from Mario Chalmers , 82 from Marcus Morris.

At his current rate he'll be close to Morris by end of Non-Conference Play.

Also at this rate he'll pass Wilt by the 4th conference game.

He's got a minimum 24 games left (22 regular), 1 Big-12, 1 NCAA tourney. Max 31 games to go.

24 games at his current scoring average would get him to top 10.

31 games at his current scoring average would get him to 5th and passing Sherron Collins.

Will be interesting to see if he can keep scoring at this pace. So far it looks sustainable with how well he's shooting the ball and being used in the offense.

Team shoots a lot of 3's, and well. They don't rebound at all so that's a plus for us.

The close loss to Creighton leads me to believe they are at least okay.

Their 2nd leading scorer and former WAC POY Martez Harrison is suspended indefinitely which really hurts them against KU.

Boyd, Newbill & Ross cannot be left open.

I'm sure this will be a close game early as we lose guys on the perimeter who make shots. Self calls a T, rallies the guys with his red face and we run away by 20 or so in the end.

Almost like we need to start keeping tally of these career day "L's" for the opposing team.

A classic one coming up is Jack Gibbs or Peyton Aldrige of Davidson, they are candidates for career nights. Although Gibbs has scored over 30 points 10 times in the past 2 seasons and 3 over 40. Aldridge has hit for 30 once this year already.
