We can score better than about any Hawks team I can recall - if we could just guard anything close to as well, we would be pretty dangerous....

JJ definitely trying to make up for last game....
They're sharing the ball - 7 players have scored for them - 3 for us... Not to mention 60%+ from the field - 4-5 from 3 pt.

HCBS not all happy about defense on the last 2 possessions. Understandably so...

Speaking of crazy starts, Nebraska leads the B10 after scoring the last 14 points of the game to beat Maryland by 2 - on the road. This after beating Indiana on the road earlier in the week. Go figure...

Well, it is an 18 point win in a true road game, so there is that. And, it's a much better outcome than a couple of our pre-Xmas road games in past years, so there's that too...

@BeddieKU23 No defensive intensity this half. We were making it difficult for them to run their offense early, but not now. Seems like everyone on the team has 2 fouls, so they're not as aggressive.

@jayballer54 The question is can we out score them. UCLA did - put up a 100 on them. UNC may do the same, even if they lose. We may not have the interior defenders, but we have MUCH better perimeter defenders than either of these teams....
A LOT of athleticism and talent - esp. on UK - but, seriously, this is like one of the high school all star games - very little defense. We could handle UNC - their offensive rebounding would be the major concern - but UK is going to present a challenge - esp. at Rupp....

@Crimsonorblue22 They have more RBs for the game - after we had a pretty good margin at halftime - and, we've given up 14! offensive RBs - and they are definitely not a big team...

Missing FTs seems to be contagious for the guys - 2 straight by Mason. This will come back to bit us at some point, I'm afraid...
@brooksmd Don't intend for it to be demeaning - the perhaps generic term used for the end of bench guys who only get in in the blow out games. I have no doubt that ours and other teams' help make the starters better....
@Texas-Hawk-10 I really think we have the worst scrubs in the country - nice guys, but none capable of scoring - they look like HS guys out there. Our blow-out game margins are never as large as they could be, because the other teams end of bench guys always out score ours....
