borderline flagrant there Mitch, but I like it against WVU!
@stoptheflop Selden was always defending the break so frank could rebound. Probably same with Grimes/Dotson.
@Bwag Good... then there's hope!
I'm starting to wonder if Grimes is just dumb as a rock
Missed Ochai for a lob on that last fast break
Surely Bill will stick with playing two bigs even when Garrett is back.
@stoptheflop chuck played in the first half... did ok. No stupid no-look shots
Grimes blocked by the rim again.
Holy moly , Ochai
Just kidding.
What if Garrett is the bad link and not Vick?
@approxinfinity Huggins was not happy when he heard the freethrow ratio was 35-3
I'm looking forward to Huggins' post game press conference
Surely someone here thinks we can blow this lead.
Dedric helped up the WVU player
I'm relieved Mitch, KJ and Dave are getting more into a groove. Now Charlie just needs to figure out what he can add.
Mitch... MY ball.
Missed a couple hacks on the lawson boys. Refs just want to get this game over with
Well Fran's players didn't use four feet of court, so that's probably why we's an announcer :rolling_eyes:
really bad call
culver is getting frustrated
@approxinfinity Dave had a basket, block and at least one board.
I'm just going to say it: Ochai reminds me of Michael Jordan.
dice dime, Grimes
under 16 break
When the pressure is on, things can and have happened at this point in the past 14 years.
If we win the rest (doable), we'll at least get a share of the title, IMO. I think we've gone through the growing pains.
If we win the rest and KSU somehow wins all of their games (except for KU in Lawrence), then they deserve it. I still think they'll screw at least one game up if not a total meltdown before it's over.
I still think we should partner up with PONY.
@mayjay thanks for the explanation
@mayjay they won on a reviewed call that would have been a charge for the past 100 years
@jayballer73 ESPNDuke + Refs > 23
As long as ESPNDuke chokes in the tourney (probable) before the FF, I'm good.
@truehawk93 I'll give KState and coach Liberace credit so far. They're staying focused so far despite the super bowl win at home.
Meanwhile, our buddy Rick Barnes is still a darn good coach over there in Knoxville. SMH
We need to win out, period. That's it.
Gotta give Shaka some credit. He cashed in on one big win and phoned it in from then on.
It was stupid to expect texas to do the right thing. Good grief, they are horrible.
-2
Hayes with the flush + 1
Clock robbed
Go Hayes, and whoever is playing KSU!
By the way, I think think this is a good KSU-Texas game thread. 60-57 kitties, with 7-ish left to, um, GO.
@mayjay You don't want to GO there.

*I hadn't heard of "taking a 1.5" before, but believe me, I'm going to use that if the unfortunate circumstances ever arrive in the future.
@KUSTEVE I enjoyed that!
With Diarra on the bench, the game in Lawrence should be an easy, uh... blow out.
When he was a little kid, they called him "Squirt"
@Texas-Hawk-10 While the team was collapsing (again), I was thinking that if we could just manage to regroup and come out on top it would be the biggest victory of the year so far.
I would have typed that lat night, but I was busy complaining about Self putting Dedric in the position to be the hero.
The road is long with many a winding turn...
Can't spell "Jayhawk" without a K and a J
Dotson played the entire 45 minutes? Dude
@kjayhawks that was a dumb stretch for sure. Dotson dribbled over to Grimes on the wing and there was no plan from there except try to get the ball to Dedric
