@nuleafjhawk Mostly kidding about the "making up for lost time" comment. I enjoy beer (craft/regional stuff) and that's it, but I know enough people with problems with alcohol that I shouldn't joke about it.
I waited until I was legal... in Iowa, which was 19 at the time.
(grew up in Illinois near the Quad Cities/went to college in Kirksville, MO, so I was only 30 miles from the border either way.)
Close enough. Been making up for lost time ever since.

@HighEliteMajor I agree that the Cliff bust is probably fodder for negative recruiting. Unfortunately, the best way to negate that would have been to point to Embiid and say, "Well, his draft stock sure went up from being at KU."
Alas, we can't really do that while Embiid has his foot in a cast.
@nuleafjhawk Now that I think about it, beer might be a key factor in my poor volleyball playing.
Of all the sports I've ever played (or tried), volleyball is the one I'm just absolutely terrible at playing. Probably because of that, I love watching good volleyball. Lots of action, grit, endurance and athleticism. Positions for all body sizes to excel. It takes team chemistry to be successful, and this group/coach seems to have that.

The VB team is packing the house with more fans than end up in Memorial Stadium at the end of a football game.
Seriously... they're on a great run to start the season, and let's face it, they beat K-State in every facet of the game, from uniform design (oh, K-state, those are just dreadful) to vertical leaping ability to... well, to a lot of other things.

Zenger was looking for a quick fix and he found a supposed offensive genius Weiss with two upper classmen 5-star QBs (Crist and Heaps). That was about as far as the plan went.
