I think it was a fair assessment given than every part of his game has radically improved to such a degree where is freethrow woes and lack of a jumpshot are non-factors.
Who honestly thought he would be able to reinvent himself to this degree in year 4? This isn't the culmination of a natural progression, it's a complete tranformation.
I think folks got way out over their skis. If he was the age of a normal college player I would be more in that camp but legally he can't even have a drink yet. He's only 7 months older than Ochai and we drool about his potential but the thought was Doke was tapped out at age 19. Never made sense to me.

Measured 6'2 in shoes at the NBA Combine last year, so must be pretty accurate. Just perusing through the measurements, I think everyone was wearing platform shoes lol
I don't like a defensive 3 seconds in college basketball because it would essentially outlaw most zone defenses. I like the scheme variety in the college game. Ok with the latter suggestion though. I'd also support shortening the shot clock to 25-27 and going to quarters to eliminate the 1 and 1.
