Agreed, not really big on just having this guy for one year. But like you say we need a QB in the worst way.- -Then as I know you have seen , you have the people saying what we get in one year from him - -go from 2 wins to 3 wins? - -plus saying no matter if the O=line sucks not going to make any difference.
Yet like others have said which I agree with on this he was the starting QB at Florida - -we've never had anything like that, - -plus you know - - - who knows my friend , say he does come and play for the one year - -got an absolute Cannon for an arm - -he comes in maybe able to ultulize our receivers even more - -maybe gets us 4-5 wins - -might just be what we need to get better QB's looking at us a little more seriously. He MIGHT be just what we need to get that door open to attract higher quality talent at the QB spot who knows. -- I think I'd be willing to take that chance.

He dislocated and broke his ankle. Pretty nasty stuff. But is supposed to be close to 100% for spring ball.
I don’t expect miracles from him, but if he’s a marginal upgrade over Stanley then I can see us winning 4 games. 3-0 in non-con then sneak a Big 12 win.

Was just about to say I don’t see that much difference. He has to gather and that always looks great against 6’1 HS kids. He’s a good athlete moving side to side and fairly skilled but not a guy we’re going to run lobs for.

The Regents won't fire Self. They don't really care about sports, just dollar signs. We've heard Self to the Spurs for at least a decade now and it's no more true today than it was then. An extension post-NCAA garbage is far more likely since, you know, there's been progress on that front unlike this rumor.

The Dean Dome kind of blows. It's waaaaay too big both as far as capacity and footprint. Allen is a small 16,300, Dean is a massive 21,750. Since it's so huge it's never that loud except for huge ACC games. Doubt a home and home ever happens as long as Roy is there. K will never do a home and home with KU either.
Cameron is just a different experience. It's basically a HS gym. The baskets come down from the ceiling and there aren't any seats in the student sections. Ushers are there to squeeze everyone in as tight as possible, shoulder to shoulder and front to back, on what are essentially risers.
