@Texas-Hawk-10 I see. But isn't it true the Mitch doesn't count against our scholly total?
If Och does want to come back is there any way we could get Kyle Cuff to reclassify again?
@BShark Then UK is getting both TyTy and Wheeler? I have also heard Davion Mintz is likely returning, so it seems like they will have a lot of pgs.
I would really like to see us go after Brandon Mahan from UCF. Just entered the portal and was a very efficient scorer last year.
@BeddieKU23 What transfer from Wake?
To chime in on a positive note, it looks like a lot of his issues point to bad coaching. It makes sense, because Tom Crean is one of the worst coaches in CBB. Better decision making, better knowledge of the playbook, and a little more hesitation to just let the threes fly and he could be a very solid player.
Does anyone have any leads on who the coordinators/assistant coaches will be?
I am not seeing Braun coming off the bench. He got a lot of minutes last year and if his shots start falling the way we know they can he could have a great season. My guess at the moment is Harris, Braun, Ochai, Wilson, and Dave as the starters with Yesufu, Thompson, and Christin Bishop as our key reserves.
@BShark Ahhhh in that case put Devon in his place. Then I suppose Josh Jackson is the first guard off the bench. I would also put Perry Ellis as a key reserve. Very underrated for how good he was on both sides of the ball as a senior.
My starting 5 is:
Frank Mason
Sherron Collins
Devonte Graham
Thomas Robinson
Udoka Azubuike
My top bench options would be: Devon Dotson and Marcus Morris. I strongly debated switching Devon with either Devonte or Sherron and switching Marcus with TRob.
We do know now that we will be playing Tennessee in the BigXII SEC challenge. Thoughts on that game?
Thanks for the replies :'(
Has anyone heard any whisperings of what our schedule will be like next season?
I hope Tyon can shoot as well. I tried to look up his JUCO stats but couldn't find them. Do any of you guys know what his offensive strengths are?
With Doke gone, our perimeter scoring will need to pick up the slack. Our 3 ball has got to be much better next year than it was last. I'm hoping Bryce Thompson can help out with that. If anyone happens to know or have any theories about how good a shooter he is please share!
Pretty terrible seeding throughout.
Azubuike has missed well over a year of games throughout his career. He easily has a case to apply for a fifth year of eligibility, even if the NCAA doesn't do the right thing and give an extra year to everyone. Do you guys think Doke would be willing to do this? And if he does would the NCAA turn him down?
I am surprised this hasn't been brought up here yet, but both have been in walking boots and it is obvious that neither of them is playing at 100%. What are the odds that they play like their old selves come the tournament? And if they can't, are our chances at a title dead?
